Everything works fine on the first trip.. But if I land (refuel / rearm) and get back up, with guns set and master arm on, the guns will no longer fire. Only tested in multiplayer. This makes it very difficult to use this jet in multiplayer and the only thing holding me back from flying it more.

Haven't tried with air start, but the bug is definitely still there with Hot start.

Same problem in Hornet , happens after designating a target and turning on laser, both lightning and atflir

What I do is use the hmd and center to that with dms right long. It's actually better since you can center wherever you're looking. If you want to center boresight, look straight ahead. Just be sure to setup your hmd crosshair to be on vs occluded. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

The real solution is something like the pimax 8kx with very wide fov, then you have the peripheral vision that doesn't require as much head turning Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Just set the first hmcs setting of crosshair to on instead of occluded and you can reset to to that if your hmd is soi and looking through hud, works better anyway as it resets to anywhere you look. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

After some more testing, the furthest out I'm able to lock a mav f is 6 nm. Most need to be 5 nm or less. Definitely has been reduced, but I am about to lock. Haven't tried night yet. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

I tested both the 8kx and Xtal at CES in Vegas. The 8kx definitely better than the Xtal. Xtal had amazingly clear lenses but there were really bad viewing issues - best way I can describe is like when you're looking around in zoom view and everything is distorted, not to that extreme but that same kind of unnatural feel. I did talk to the developer about it, and he is aware and said they are working on improving that. At the time of my visit, their pricing was almost $8k. I asked them if any chance of getting down to the $5k range - they scoffed at that suggestion. So don't expect your $1k dream to ever materialize.
