Nope, if I have a travel of 300m... I still have 256 steps. And that is in some airplanes too less. For the first 5% travel u just have 12 steps. Dont mind how long the travel is. In the aircraft, you can really see the steps it moves from an 8-bit throttle. If u have 10-16 bits, the handle moves smooth as silk and u can make very tiny corrections, which you can NEVER achieve with an 8-bit throttle. You just can't. Fly with an highres throttle and u never want an 8-bit back. Believe me. Dot. :)

He has not even shadows turned on the cockpit and still low fps. No-no. Maybe 2020. With the next gen of gpus.

once the PC is booted, u can start it (or autostart), enter ur values and they are used until u shut down the computer.

Hmm, as I read the title, my first thought was: Oh no, please put all menpower on already existing and started but not yet finished projects. Please no more additional early asscess aircrafts, before the others are not finished. I have the strange feeling that all of u developers (ED included) should FOCUS on this actual state of DCS and your modules, and finish and optimize it for an awesome experience with less bugs, more FPS, more working systems in the aircrafts, which - JUST work? I just SAY: How LONG is early access phase in your mind? For me, one year maximum. U guys dont have DEADLINES? How to handle a business without deadlines? Regards

After seeing this video, I see the hard mounted camera shaking very much. So, I think they have to change it. The DCS cockpit is still dead. Or, lets say the whole Harrier is dead. Flight dynacmics is the one thing, but how the whole bird shakes @ high G is not implemented, yet. I think.

I have noticed, that other planes in the picture, will cause a massive fps drop. Right now. Sometimes only 2 AI-Aircrafts are needed rolling to the runway, that DCS goes under 45fps. I had set up carrier with some life on it. And the fps drops, even when I am far away and dont even can see the carrier in VR. Just rotating the head towards it. So, I dont know, maybe ED has to sort objects out, which are not visible or too far away. Strange engine. I have the feeling, we all have to spent much money for GPUs to compensate the faulty, non-optimized engine of DCS. How heavy the fps drops, if u have a couple of objects in the frame is not normal.

Nope, I think 23 Buttons included POV, is correct. And I found out, that on this drawing https://virpil.com/images/blog/forums/VPCButtonMap.jpg Button 6 is missing, too. Noone has Button 6. U dont have a Button 6. So, I think, I dont know, they just forgot Button 6. Or they wanted to match the buttons to the Warthog, which has no button 6, too. Thank you very much. I just wanted to be sure, that there is no button, which is e.g. a 5 way hat, that doesn't work properly on my stick. Now I am a bit disappointed, cause I hoped so :D 5-way-Hats needed. Vipril.

Hi Ares72. Does this problem exist in other titles? Seems, like many wrote before, that ur head is not position tracked. Just Gyro tracked. And just to be sure: You can ZOOM in with a hotkey in DCS. For reading small informations, you dont have to lean forward. You are not talking about zoom. You talk about camera movement. Zoom is not Movement.

Dont forget to turn ON the mirrors in the options. And then turn them OFF in the cockpit with a Hotkey in any aircraft. So you have a frozen image in the mirrors (if they dont fold away), but much more FPS. Mostly about 20% more. PS. Maybe someone wrote this before. I didnt read the whole thread.

If u have ever used a more than 8bit-throttle, u will never use an 8bit throttle again. :) Keep this in mind. Buttons and swicthes are important, but don't forget the resolution of the axes.

Yes, e.g. for the SU-33. This switch on the top side is at my config Button 17+19. I just loaded the default config for this combo (WarBRD+MT50, as the screenshot shows). Maybe there is just something wrong with the default setup. So, I have 23 buttons (virtual brake-lever button included). How many do u have?

Now I need that on my X-Axis, too. I am gonna send you an eMail. Thanks! BTW: When will the "VPC WarBRD CosmoSim Cams" be available again? :) I need more cams to play with :) The WarBRD is usable without springs, too. Nice for Helis. But I like it with the softer springs.

Hi Virpil, today I received my brand new WarBRD with am MT-50 Grip. It took just a couple of days after purchase until the stick arrived. Never seen such a precise joystick! Nice work. The stick in the aircraft is doing exactly, what I am doing. But after the 1st minute of flying, I realized, that I don't like the standard cams (with 2 notches) with the hard center. I need a softer center, or no real center. So, I changed the default cams with the softer ones (with 1 notch). But, after I built them in, I recognized that my Y-Axis has a nice soft center, but my X-Axis has still a hard center. Not that hard like with the standard cams, but hard with a audible "klack". I examined the cams and I can see and feel, that one Cam is not exactly built. I can feel with my fingernail, that the center is harder, than the other 3. I talk about When I remove the springs and press with my fingers, I can feel the harder center on that one cam. What can I do now? Or what you want to do now, Virpil? Regards
