I would guess ED gets around 50%, no les than 30% and no more than 70% of third party products. Some more intelligent guessing: LN should sell around 5,000 to 7,000 copies on the first year, without being to optimistic ($200,000 to $350,000 to split with ED). Why? There are around 50,000 ED Clients: There are 53,800 members in the forum. There must be around the same number of actual clients and there are much more potential clients to come. Since the new ED shop order numbers ED had sold over 70,000 copies of products (over $2,000,000 if the average price is $30). Check order numbers in your modules. This doesn't take in account products sold on Steam and with the older system. Over 12,000 TM Warthog Hotas joysticks where sold (this info is only from their serial numbers). Most of buyers would be ED clients. If 10% DCS clients have a TM Warthog then total ED clients are 120,000. If 20% have a TM then total ED clients are around 60,000. (I don't think that more than 20% of DCS users have a TM ). Numbers ad up both ways, ED should have at least 50,000 to 100,000 clients. There is no way no know how many ED clients will buy the Mig-21 but I will guess that at least a 10% to 15% of us, ED clients, will buy the Mig within the first year. Thats 5,000 to 15,000 copies. Taking in account future discounts lets say that the average price is $35. That gives you $125,000 to $525,000 in sales. Best case scenario over the years: $3,500,000, If total ED clients are 100,000 and the 100% of them buy the Mig. Im jut guessing but Im quite sure they are going to sell much more than a few hundred copies. Good luck LN!

Nice (but short) video YoYo. Do you have more info from the delivey graph you posted? It isn't in the english manual for the export version of the Mig-21 BIS. I would like to know the distance values for A and B and the velocity of V. Thanks. @WinterH: good options!!

Or leave it, maybe limiting its quantities. It will take strategy, cooperation and a lot of luck to get a MIG-21 in position to deliver a tactical nuke, bypassing more modern jets in the air and air defenses. YoYo do you have more data from the delivery graph? As far as I could find the Mig-21 pilot should accelerate to 1050 km/h in low and level flight, climb at a 45 degrees angle and release de bomb at 3000 meters. The bomb should impact the ground 7 km from release point following a ballistic curve.. The second method fore release is more accurate but more dangerous: release over the shoulder. Mig-21 Pilot fly over the target, then climbs vertical and release the bomb at 105 degrees nose up angle watching the target area just over his shoulder. The bomb continues climbing vertical and then falls back impacting under the release point.

I'm a backer here and just pre ordered another copy as a gift, will be buying more later on to support LN.

Excelent!!! News posted at BOE117 forum, but its hard to compete with the 50.000 potential clients at ED forum. I think you should expect at least arround 5000 to 7000 DCS mig 21 clients within the first year (10 to 15 % of total DCS clients). Excelent work and good luck!!!

OPERATION SILK STREET (MP Coop Combat Mission)
JorgeIII replied to ColdBlood's topic in User Created Missions General
Good misión Coldblood, + 1. We used it for practice @ boe117 last sunday but have a server crash before reaching stage 2. We will be flying it again tonight. I recommend placing the Ka-50s closer to Gori, as it is right now its a 30´+ to get to the combat zone. Waiting for versión 1.1! -
+1 for the F-4 and F-5 And I would love to have a DCS A-4 Skyhawk, specialy A-4 AR Fightinghawk.

Spring Sale vs. Bonus System credit
JorgeIII replied to VTJS17_Fire's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Well, I found I was mistaken too. I have $64 in bonuses and I thought I could use them any time in ED store. We can only use them to pay up to a 20% of a participating title (this equals a 20% discount from full price). More over, the bonuses will expire on 06.01.14. So If I want to use them all, I have to spend real $256 to buy producs for $320 at the store, before june 2014. Clients who have bonuses more likely already have most or all DCS titles (good clients). If we are luky and a new module is released before June, witch accepts the bonus system, we may get a 20% off (about $10). The rest of $ in bonuses will be lost. Something is not right. Link to bonus rules: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/faq/bonus_rules/ A product can be paid by use of bonuses no more than 20% (twenty percent) of the full product price. Accrued bonuses for purchases made prior to 20.02.2014 can be used up to 01.06.2014. Upon expiration, accrued bonuses will be invalid and void without the possibility of the return and / or recovery. -
Excellent ideas! +1.
