Yea that was a great thing. I really liked the try before you buy aspect of it. Even got a few of my non dcs buddies to download and play.

We need to get @MaxMPower in here. I want to hear about flanker stuff. Maybe a little bit of Mig-29 stuff, but I believe his primary platform was the Su-27 and Su-35.

I've found that on certain maps especially Syria my FPS is really bad, near single digits for about 2-4 minutes and then it smoothes out.

I believe the Mirage has some anti runway bombs also.

Looks like we switched to blue so F-5 for me.

Hello not sure if bug or not but currently when i'm in INTC mode and select RWS and then go into NAV or air to ground mode then back to INTC mode it always defaults back to TWS, not sure if intended or not. But I would think that it would remember and save your settings.

I would't call a 1984 Mig-29A a "modern" redfor airplane in the era of ED's 2007ish F-16, F-18 20210ish JF-17 and EF2k. I mean I'm gonna buy it 100%. But I really wish ED would have been more forward thinking about the DCS "World" and given us 80s versions of the F-16 and F-18, along with an 80s Mig-29 and 80s F-14 + the Mig-23 and F-8 in the oven. We ccould actually have a "world" to play in. But no, we get a bunch of stuff from the Mid 2000s fighting stuff from the 60s 70s and 80s. Whoo hoo.

As much as it sucks to admit it. hes right, MAC is the only way we can get modernish redfor stuff. but ED seems to have zero interest in customers that want red aircraft. I mean they could have done 80s versions of the F-16 and F-18, so at least keep scenarios less frankenstein'd together. But they decided to not do that either.

To be fair, you have the only, So the bar is... non-existent. That being said I think its ok, just could be better, but I mean, its FC3.

Thats great, but please make it a separate missile so we can keep the originals for time period specific missions.

Maybe they'll add the NS430 to the high fidelity Mig-29 they're working on.

Yes this 100% If they can't do more modern redfor planes then at least give us some olders blue planes from the 80s era.

I think the R27 & R77 rework is extremely important for the Syria Map release, I mean.... I want to fly red air, but not with weapons modeled to an older standard. Please take this under consideration.

Anybody have a way to disable jester AI in a MP mission? Or kick / blow up an F-14 that is airborne with only 1 player in it?

I've heard that ED is taking over all the missiles, maybe they will fix the phoenix after the R27 / R77 Family rework. As far as I can tell though, the main issue is the magic INS, the next one being that the mk47A is only rated to 17g irl and the 54C I believe was 25g? In comparison the AIM-120B maximum allowable G is 30-50g I'd have to look it up again to find the exact figure. Comparatively the 120 should be light-years ahead of the phoenix in maneuverability. Then their is the issue with the phoenix not supposed to receive pit-bull command on a dropped track . Mean if its fired on a target and track on that target is lost, the missile is dead and will no longer receive guidance or a pit-bull command. The workaround is if the PH active switch is turned on in the backseat the Phoenix will go pit-bull if the track is dropped, but will not receive guidance. That switch was pretty much never used because you had literally no control over this active phoenix flying around. But that dropped track logic is more a part of the WCS and not the missile, so I think it'll still be on HB to fix, and since HB hasn't fixed any of the phoenix issues since the F-14 launched, I seriously doubt they will now. Maybe ED will force their hand once they start working on the Phoenix. Or maybe HB is just pushing hard to get the F-14A out before doing more work on the WCS, who knows, they are radio silent on the matter.

Can you explain the "warming years" or "warm years" What do you mean? Was there a time in the past when ED had a close working relationship with The aircraft design companies? If so, what changed?
