You need first former Normandy to be able to use 2.0 upgrade. If you dont have Normandy base map you cant upgrade to 2.0 for that money. So having Normandy just buy 2.0 upgrade and the Channel. If you dont have Normandy, you need the FULL PRICE Normandy 2.0 and the Channel

The Roland has both optical and radar guiding systems, that can be changed to intercept at will. So you are experimenting normal operational use of that SAM. Radar to detect you, optical guiding to intercept you.

Whatever the reason. If an agreement is reachable, work will resume, if not, ED will "try" to keep functional whatever can be saved, but i doubt they can do that for to long. Im very pesimistic about a solution that will keep RB working together with ED. In the end we will lose first the F-15E, then the rest of the modules will fail because DCS evolves to a point that keeping them working will be impossible. The Hawk was stuck with a DCS version, no longer compatible with further updates. The same will happen to RB modules. I hope someone proves me wrong in the future

Nope, if you buy Irak Map, the complete one, you have access to both parts, North and South. First North will be High detail. South comes later in High detail, and you will get the South updated like any other update. If yo buy only North or only South, you will have access to the detailed map ONLY for that part, and the rest of the map will be low detail

Yes, click on the joybutton 26 and then Clear. Click on Right Control + P and Clear. Exit DCS, Reload DCS and check if the red exclamation has gone. If not then maybe you should go to saved games and delete the F-1EE controls folder and let DCS generate a new one, and remap.

Not for me. Try to clear the asignment, exit DCS, load DCS again and check if the red exclamation is gone. Asso for me default is Right Shift+ P, not Right Control + P

I hope the textures resolution on the less detailed parts of the map are not going to be like in Afghanistan. Even on the "detailed" portion of Afghanistan, the zones around the most detailed ones are very low quality when flying low. Dont know if this is going to be improved but if Irak is going the same way is a no go for me. The transition between high and low resolution is so poor handled that flying helicopters is a pain, when those parts can be seen together.

It looks fine for me. VIP in capital letters should be recognized, no matter the rest of the WP name.
