Irrealistic air speed extended landing gear
The_GhostRider replied to lorfar's topic in Bugs and Problems
That's not an answer to be fair, more of an excuse when the manual calls out a max speed of 300 knots whit gear extended. At any rate thanks for the response. -
You don't need a track for this just jump in hit the burner and lower the gear. I expected some type of damage, door breaking off, gear half extended or stuck, but you can raise and lower it just fine, even in excess of 600 knots.

This, among other things, is why I don't use the QAG. I like to complete my mission on the ground, not on a timer.

I think it'll run longer than MASH -
I'm in the same boat; something changed in the code or their auth servers. Never had a problem until recently and now it happens almost once per every 3 sessions for me.

Same and F-4 is not in the CW aircraft list. I hope the campaign UI will be better than this.

The AI does some pretty unorthodox things and has some limitations that would make it very frustrating, formation flying is probably better done online with a real human.

The ground doesn't even get wet when it rains. -
no secret, that's how it's been forever and how it will be until they address the ATC. We can hope that they address it as part of the dynamic campaign, otherwise any immersion the campaign brings will be ruined by the chaos of dozens of aircraft trying to takeoff at the same time.

Ka-50, Mi-8, Mi-24 removed from Russian ED store??

It does beg the question, what if other copyright holders withdraw their permissions? -
Looking at the NVIDA docs, there is now a preset K, which supposedly eliminates some of the ghosting encountered with preset J. Have yet to try it out. J
-
The ghosting is really prevalent when using preset J, especially when the objects are farther away and moving at any speed. Closer objects appear to have less ghosting and flying in formation I see no real ghosting. I did try preset e and it’s definitely not as crisp, but the ghosting seems to be far less, even on far objects.

F-5E Remastered FPS issue after the last patch?
The_GhostRider replied to FZG_Immel's topic in Bugs and Problems
I don't think it's fixed. Brought my machine to it's knees after a few minutes of flight and landing in on the Marianas map. I have a 14900KF, 4080 Super and 64GB ram and DCS literally turned into a slide show. -
probably in the "remastered" release
-
Not sure this one is actually fixed Fixed: AI wingmen collisions during landing on the ship in some case Watched my wingman dive straight into the water during F-14 CQ mission, unless fixed means running into anything but the player.
-
Looks good and a lot of campaign/mission possibilities but I pre-purchased Afghanistan and it's been months since I've seen any movement on it so I'll be skipping this and maybe when it's done and if I have enough disk space to accommodate it.
-
It's more likely a DCS problem, my logbook time is randomly updating depending on the A/C since the update.

Hope the mods don't close this thread, 93 pages of warmth and affection and I'm hoping we can get to 100+ -
You should probably seek people who know how to test because your current crop of testers seem to miss a lot of obvious bugs.
