  1. "I shot them down because I got lost and came at them from somewhere they didn't expect."
  2. You are running Liberation as Admin. Are you also running DCS as Admin? They must match, or you end up with privilege conflicts.
  3. New water reflections, possibly?
  4. It says it is solved but that is for a follow-on question from another user.
  5. Was your formation "Open" or "Closed?" I think the "Open" formation is a workaround at the moment. One way or the other.
  6. I have seen them just keep flying and become invulnerable. But never rolling over like that. Pilot snipe, maybe?
  7. On the RAZBAM website, https://razbamsimulations.com/index.php/paint-kits/dcs/2000c-paint-kit is the supposed location of the Mirage paint kit. The hard link in the upper right is broken and gets a 404 error on a google drive link. If you click on the image, which is live, you get a .7z file - which appears to be an older paint kit for the Harrier.
  8. In Settings/Misc. there is a setting for Synchronize Cockpit Controls. Try flipping that setting and see if it makes a difference.
  9. Which would suggest that DCS is using unarmed max gross weight as it's max weight for the P51. This would not be the first source I saw that had these numbers. In fact, Max Armed Gross here is higher than I saw when I was looking. Since they marked it correct as-is, i didn't push. Maybe more people pointing it out will make them take another look at what they have. Because what they have does not make a lot of sense.
  10. DCS does not need to see the .liberation file. That is for the Liberation engine. The mission file that Liberation creates is still a .miz file, which should be in your Missions folder. Unless you changed something.
  11. No, at the moment you cannot. Not natively, anyway. It can be scripted, though.
  12. Maybe I missed a step somewhere, but the Iowa class mod is not available to the ME unless you turn *off* the historical filter. I was trying to add an Iowa class to a Channel map scenario. Set my date for March 1945, classic WWII coalitions, Country USA, Ship Category All. With the filter on, all that is available for ships is the Sam Chase. the LST, and the LCVP Higgins. TUrn the filter off, and everything becomes available. That seems backwards. Edit: Latest OB 56590, Reshade active but no other Core mods.
  13. I can partially confirm this. FC3 does not show as active. It also does not change if you check and select install, although it does go through the process. What does show up, at least for me however, are any FC3 aircraft that I purchased individually.
  14. Anything updated in Windows recently? Driver updates? Have you looked in <shudder> Event Viewer to see if anything pops up there?
  15. DCS logic for Base captures is: 1) Destroy *ALL* the enemy units assigned to that base; 2) Occupy that base with at least one of your own units. It is important to make sure you killed everything, otherwise it won't work. Advancing is done from your Base Menu. On the Ground Forces HQ tab, set your Frontline Operations to Aggressive, Elimination, or Breakthrough - as explained here: https://github.com/Khopa/dcs_liberation/wiki/Frontline-Strategies-Stances
  16. Out of curiosity, and because this is becoming a more frequent question: Does this mod have to go in the root folder, or can it be installed in Saved Games?
  17. The links expire after a while. This one should be current: https://discord.gg/rUHw3nB3 Otherwise, if you search in Discord for DCS: Liberation, you should be able to find the channel that way.
  18. My first thought is remove any mods you are running, then Update (if you need to,) Repair, Clean, and then test.
  19. It does. - https://discord.gg/JDSs7utg
  20. That's really cool. The liner notes are pretty interesting. The APS13 is modeled in DCS for the P51D. It does work, but it can be annoying as it is in no way an IFF system.
  21. Using Skatezilla's DCS Launcher Utility is perfect for this.
  22. Looking for answers on how to manage things like escorts, fighter sweeps, companion flights. I am designing a mission with the Herc that has to fly through enemy territory and I am having trouble getting the escorts in particular to play well. They takeoff immediately and if I am slow off the runway, they fly for WP 1 without me, won't wait for me to catch up, and generally as a result we all get shot down. I'd like to do something like a rally point, but I have no idea how to make it sort out.
  23. What mods do you have running? Have you tried removing them and doing Clean and Repair with DCSUpdater?
  24. I am referring to Max Weight. That would be the 10,580 figure in the first box. I am aware that the second box is the total weight of the aircraft. In this image, I am already overweight, with only 6 rockets and 65% fuel. If I were to increase the load to 6 rockets, 2 bombs and 100% fuel, the aircraft Total weight would be just shy of 12,000lbs. Which is within limits according to sources, but in the ME, it would show as over max weight and the counter would show me as 113% (in red.) To be fair, the aircraft will still take off in this configuration. It's hairy, but it'll do it. But if you don't know that, you would see what the ME shows and think it could not. If this is intentional, it's confusing. If this is wrong in *my* system, where is the "error" coming from? going on a diet.miz
  25. OB .59625 Is the max takeoff weight for the P51 correct? I have seen several sources that list max weight for the D model at 12,000+ pounds. But in the ME, max weight is 10,500, which means you are over weight if you try to take a full compliment of HVARS, or almost any amount of fuel. Or am I reading this wrong?
