Was kann man mit so einem kleinen Piepmatz überhaupt anstellen? Außer vielleicht dass sich der Feind totlacht? :lol: Kann man in DCS dauerhaft spannende Kunstflugmissionen fliegen, die so interessant sind wie etwa die Red Bull Air Race Weltmeisterschaften?

Do not worry my friend! You can change it yourself by editing the db_countries.lua file, which you can find in ...\Country Database\Scripts\Database :smartass:

This works except for F11 and F12, since you do not have Num11 or Num12. So I have personally decided to use this change:

Usually when I press the button for the "intercomms menu" the easy communication menu will show up. But sometimes it does not work, which is very annoying when I try to use Voice Attack. In that case Voice Attack will change my camera instead of using the commuincation. I do not know what is causing this bug. I only know that this bug also appears without Voice Attack. So even when I am using my keyboard, the comms button is occasionally not accepted in DCS. Edit: Maybe it has something to do with the active window. That may be a reason why DCS might not accept keyboard inputs. I have noticed that this bug always occurs when I am returning from my desktop to DCS.

Guys, I think the second one is the Ramat David airport in Israel!! Coincidentally I have recently used google earth images to create some textures for a strategy game and one of the locations was this airport. :)

Is it possible to change the roughness of those areas on the ground, that are not part of any runway or taxiway? I do not like the fact that in DCS you can get away with it, when you miss a runway during landing and still survive without any damages. Maybe there is a Lua file that allows us to change the bumpiness of the unpaved ground or something? :bounce:

Ich habe einige Fragen bzgl. der Ankündigungen für 2019: - Wurde bereits geleakt was das für eine neue Karte sein soll, die gratis verfügbar sein wird? - Inwiefern wird Vulkan die Performance verbessern? Lohnt es sich auf Vulkan zu warten, bevor man seinen PC für DCS aufrüstet? Ich habe beispielsweise vor meine 16 GB RAM in diesem Jahr zu erweitern, kenne mich aber nicht wirklich mit dem ganzen Technikkram aus.

Is there any possibility to block a client slot entirely until an event happens? I want to create a single player mission, in which the player first spawns as an airplane. After this airplane got killed or has landed (i.e. after its speed is 0) I want to let the player automatically spawn in another aircraft. For example I could use this for a mission, where the player first recons ground targets with one aircraft and then bombs the targets with another aircraft.

:D Hätte er bloß DCS gespielt. Dann wüsste er, dass das normal ist, weil die MiG seitlich ein besseres Sichtfeld hat als vorne. Edit: Achso. Das erklärt wohl den fehlenden Krater und dass ich damit keine Panzer geknackt bekomme. Es ist aber auch so schon höllisch schwer eine Bombe präzise auf eine Einheit zu werfen.

Das sieht ja brutal aus, wenn heutzutage noch so ein MiG Bomben abwirft. Bei mir kommen solchen Explosionen aber nicht zustande, selbst wenn ich den Tactical Drop Schalter nach oben gedrückt habe. Jemand eine Idee? Edit: Mit den FAB-250 Bomben habe ich jetzt eine größere Explosion hinbekommen. Bisher hatte ich die BL755 und die RBK-250 ausprobiert. Die scheinen ziemlich schwach zu sein.

Your stutterings are probably not caused by your graphics card. It is because of your HDD drive. Just install DCS on a SSD and save your money! ;)

Almost always I am startled by a missile when hits me. This gives me a better thrill than any of those horror games. :D I guess in your situation you got hit by a heat seeking missile, so you should use flares simultaneously to your bomb run. It can be quite an interesting experience seeing how those missiles are barely missing you.

That is interesting. I have bought the Ka-50 on Steam. After the first activiation it said 11 activations remaining. Does that mean I have to buy this module again, when I use too many activations? :huh:

Ne, sonst wäre ich doch schon längst tot in diesem fliegenden Sargnagel. :D

Nach langem Überlegen habe ich mir die MiG-21 doch noch geholt, obwohl ich erst im letzten Herbst mit der Hornet in DCS eingestiegen bin. Den Kauf habe ich jedenfalls nicht bereut, denn die MiG-21 zwingt mich besser auf mein Energiemanagement zu achten, was mich wohl auch zu einem besseren Dogfighter gemacht hat. Ich finde es nur schade, dass die KI dermaßen cheatet und während Dogfights selbst nach harten Maneuvern ihre Energie nicht verliert und dauernd exakt weiß wo ich bin. Das ist aber ein generelles Problem in DCS. Ich kann noch viele weitere positive Dinge nennen, aber was mir überraschenderweise an der MiG auch gefällt ist dieser Spiegel. In anderen Flugzeugen sind die Spiegel nur mäßig hilfreich, aber bei der MiG schaue ich gerne hin und wieder in den Rückspiegel. :D
