  1. A lot of ISP's use Dynamic IP's, which means you get given a IP for a certain amount of time then after that time your IP changes and you have not control over this

  5. Ah ok, ebay , that explains it then. I bought a server 2022 standard license ... 50 euro for 200 user-CAL is indeed lol time I have been using companies that have been in business for years selling software, would never use ebay for stuff like this

  8. U can buy a proper working windows server 2022 standard license key for about $25 these days which is great
  9. paying for dedicated DCS linux server install == lols
  10. this is a multi player recorded TRK the reason why it will not play is because the server hoster has NOT put all the script files the mission requires to run inside the MIZ file, they appear to be hosted on their actual server, so you will not be able to play this TRK file

  15. kinda , you can use junction link magic (or DOS mlink command) to link Saved Games to a different drive and folder, I have done this for years now

  18. I actually had to create some code to work arround that issue I spawn an infantry guy in to the location and query his altitude and compare it to ground height if he is a couple m higher than ground that that location is a building (I then de--spawn him) and try a different random coord

  20. Good news , MOOSE has this feature built into it now , woo hoo! Bad news, if used in multiplayer servers it sometimes crashes the entire server I am waiting for ED for fix this bug before I try using it again
  21. it is easy to trigger , just gets lots of people on your server and trigger a junk removal or two and it will fall over It was grimes who warned me about it crashing dedis
