  5. kinda , you can use junction link magic (or DOS mlink command) to link Saved Games to a different drive and folder, I have done this for years now

  8. I actually had to create some code to work arround that issue I spawn an infantry guy in to the location and query his altitude and compare it to ground height if he is a couple m higher than ground that that location is a building (I then de--spawn him) and try a different random coord
  9. we have https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/DCS_func_getSurfaceType which is great for working out what type of land or sea is at a location with return values of land.SurfaceType LAND 1 SHALLOW_WATER 2 WATER 3 ROAD 4 RUNWAY 5 Could we please have SurfaceTypeForrest added, which will let us know if a location is covered in trees?
  10. Good news , MOOSE has this feature built into it now , woo hoo! Bad news, if used in multiplayer servers it sometimes crashes the entire server I am waiting for ED for fix this bug before I try using it again
  11. it is easy to trigger , just gets lots of people on your server and trigger a junk removal or two and it will fall over It was grimes who warned me about it crashing dedis
  12. currently running this function will crash your DCS server sometimes, MOOSE has built in functions for using it (which we warned uses about the risks)

  15. woo hoo, was pointed out years ago that a system with a single point of failure was a BAD IDEA ... and yet here we all are null

  17. try as I might, my crystal ball fails to reveal the contents of your config files(s)
  18. You could compare the terrain folder for one map between a dedicated server install and a client install , if they are 100% identical you might get away with it

  20. ED master server is falling over a lot lately sadly only ED can sort this out
