Did that. And then all was ok. So, thanks! Seems to be something with the bindings from my HOTAS. Just one more question then; is there a way you can reset the controller bindings completly, just for one aircraft? so I can rebind with a clean slate. :)

Have you guys had a chance to look at this? Today I did a cleanup and a repair (although the only mod I have installed is the SimCopter mission ( https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=247334 ), and VAICOM PRO. After cleanup and repair the problem unfortunately remains. No double bindings as I've said. It happens everytime when I'm flying the Hornet, no matter what mission or campaign. And I can't turn it off, it just switches itself back on again after a second. I did fly but I've noticed I can't unsee it anymore and it's highly distracting. Even messed up some Case 1's because of this. :mad: Appreciate:helpsmilie:

Assuming what you say is correct (and I have no reason to think otherwise, in fact I agree and it's my experience as well) and the turn-and-slip indicator is modeled correctly in the HB F-14, then almost no-one of the more well known DCS-Youtubers is flying correctly, and coordinated using the t-s indicator. They just pretend they know it seems, talking about how one should use the rudder a lot while in fact I almost never see them fly coordinated, judged by the t-s indicator.

Impossible because you're not zooming in on a 2D image, but a 3D environment.

I remember someone posted a howto not too long ago, on how to update the firmware of the Virpil WarBRD/Throttle, without having to do your control bindings within DCS all over again. But I can't seem to find it again. Can someone tell me how to do this? I haven't updated my firmware since a while now because too much bindings. :) If it's possible to update without rebinding everything, that would be great! Anyone? :)

TACAN gives you a range indication, and the runway number is also the heading of that runway. That should give you enough data to perform a landing. :)

Since a week and a half, after the DCS 2.5.5.34864 Open Beta version update. Only bindings I changed where labels on/off, and I mapped those on my keyboard. No controls crossed otherwise, was the first thing I checked. Also I don't have the HMD knob bindings assigned, since I don't use the JHMCS not that often. And I can't turn it off when it happens, it keeps switching back on after a few seconds. Weird it doesn't do that when you take control. I'll check my bindings again tomorrow, just to be sure it actually isn't a controls crossing. :)

Since the Tomcat is released the Hornet gets a lot of hate, which is sad since that's not really justified in my opinion, and because there really is no comparison. It's just preference, and also progress and you see that in various stuff like the FBW for instance. I really just don't understand the amount of hate towards the Hornet since the release of the Tomcat.

I noticed today the JHMCS turned on despite the fact I didn't turn it on. I also couldn't switch it off anymore, it kept switching back to the minimal brightness setting. A bug maybe? Very cool effect, noticed it yesterday when flying in formation.

The actual problem is of course some people just don't have any respect regarding ED's choice not wanting/allowing to discuss other sims, and/or other choices ED makes or have made in the past.

Use the keywords training, "jester" for example isn't recognized, so you need to train it. Alt-Ctrl-C to open VAICOM window, tab Editor, click the mic and there you go.
