  1. Too bad it was rather short. Other than that great trailer! :)
  2. F/A-18C for fixed wing, UH-1H for rotary.
  3. Sparrow (AIM-7) is radar guided by your aircraft, so keep the lock until it hits the bandit. AMRAAM (AIM-120) has it's own radar, wait for the ACT (ACTive) counter in the HUD to get to 0, then it's radar becomes active and starts tracking the bandit on it's own, after that you can break lock. Sidewinder (AIM-9) is IR guided, lock, fire, and forget.
  4. Multicrew is not all that useful when flying solely in SP, in my humble opinion at least. And since that is the majority of the playerbase, I guess it's just a feature for a module just like -for instance- a TGP is.
  5. In Options - Special - F/A-18C you can turn off realistic slew so you won't have to keep the button pressed. Not realistic but makes slewing easier.
  6. In Options - Special - F/A-18C you can turn off realistic slew so you won't have to keep the button pressed.
  7. Baltic Dragon is building a campaing for DCS about this book, with cooperation from Kevin Miller himself.
  8. Al Bhundee's base? :D
  9. Left console in the back near the OBOGS switch. There you can turn volume down for RWR, TACAN, and more.
  10. I do. I'm a neat freak. ;) You won't see any cables or anything. No mess on tables. Nothing. Clean as a whistle. No pic sorry.
  11. And like you (I think) said in another thread; newfound appreciation for the terrain and cities, trains, and such. :)
  12. As I keep telling everyone joining the light side (whereas dark side is pancake style monitors :P ), I'll just say it again: go and fly a helo in VR. You'll be even more blown away! :joystick: Oh, and in hindsight I think TrackIR is cheating. No real turn radius for your body when dogfighting, but just centimeters, almost infinite zoom option. Yeah, it's cheating. :smartass:
  13. Well, my guess is they will, but since the KA-50 and then the A-10C are first in line, and will take a considerable amount of work, the UH-1H & Mi-8 come after that. And with the Huey they will redo the entire engine and rotor performance as well, so it's only logical they don't comment already because it's gonna take a while. This community is not well known for it's patience. ;)
  14. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3882240&postcount=42 :)
  15. F/A-18C & UH-1H. Those are my top 2 modules. :)
  16. I just can't choose between the two. ;) Most of the time I fly the Hornet first, then conclude my session with a bit of relaxing in the Huey. It soothes me, don't know why. That's why I love it so much! :detective_2:
  17. Man I love the Huey! :pilotfly: It's just incredibly fun to fly in VR once you get the hang of it.
  18. Noticed it on NTTR yesterday.
  19. And the F/A-18 too.
  20. If you don't install the module then yes. If you do install it and then buy a new computer, you have to follow a procedure first regarding the license, on your old computer (not sure how to properly uninstall the license, search the forums, it's mentioned a few times I think). And yes. Wifi is possible. Wire always better tho, as Harlikwin said.
  21. In that regard, using their own words; I pity the poor pilots who can't handle progress. ;) F-16 will be great. Except that I'll miss the boat, really like the boat. :)
  22. Seems I'm one of the few who doesn't really like the F-14, just not my cup of tea. Don't agree with that it's hard to fly either by the way. Just different. But it's more the memory of Top Gun rather than liking the plane itself. So I would opt for the F/A-18. Which is great. I like modern. And I find it rather childish that it's classified as a toy by some on this forum. That's BS. It's just a matter of preference.
  23. You can always use an axis on the throttle for rudder inputs. Like the volume-like knobs, or the lever on top. That way you can go for the MT-50CM grip if you prefer that one more.
  24. True that, F-5, whilst I don't own it is a nice plane which I'll definitely will own some day. ;) But still, consider this: The F/A-18C comes with carrier ops, which is very enjoyable itself. Especially with the new Nimitz carrier module coming up in the near future! Almost a must have in my humble opinion. :)
