Campaign for OH-58D Kiowa Warrior: "Through the desert dust"
Gunnar81 replied to YoYo's topic in Community News
No way! Wow, this is top level cool YoYo. Incredibly impressive!!!! -
I think the only option is resolution. If it doesn't go that way, ED isn't going to pick up modules from another coder and take off running with them. They would most likely need to rebuild from scratch, which is probably a road they've considered. Hence why maybe the F-15C is being developed, to get the skeleton of their own in house Eagle coding built for a future Strike Eagle if this doesn't work out.

Its been quite the year for 3rd party projects. I wonder if BD is going to make those 4 possible campaigns for the Kiowa still happen?

Doesn't the Harrier default its laser code to 1111? Not 1688 like the other modules. Its been awhile since I've flown it but that might be worth confirming. Just my two uninformed bits...

Hi all, Getting back into flying the F16 a bit and I seem to remember this issue from when I was flying it before. Why am I getting an offset from where the TGP is point at a Steerpoint to where the Helmet is showing the steerpoint? Is this because I didn't boresight Mavericks? In the below screen snip I was using a GBU 12, the red circle was where my TPG was pointed but the helmet shows the symbology off by quite a bit. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks great. You'll have everything set up for a Chinook campaign in the future as well !

I thinks its a case of Razbam is good at some things and not at others. All I would like to see is work resume on the modules. While not perfect they were on the right track for the most part Good points. Razbam is who they is! Modules are pretty good works in progress, community realtions maybe not so much. Its all perspective tho, for some people a transaction for a product is like a blood oath for life, for others its nothing more than a night out at the pub.

Its still an awesome little jet with most systems working as they should, if you are interested, get it!

Keep this Campaign alive project

Seems like Mission 3 isn't progressing after all the ground units are eliminated after the Jailbreak. That or I can find a few missing ones. -
WORLDS APART Spring 2025 Information
Gunnar81 replied to CHPL's topic in WORLDS APART Spring 2025 Campaign
Sorry to hear how its worked out for you. Just know that your Huey campaigns are some of the most immersive feeling in DCS and for pilots that like utility flying they are hard to beat! I hope you continue your work as it is a unique breath of fresh air in DCS. -
There's a Hud Brightness/Dimming keybind in the controls, did you find that?

CBU's fall too short, and bombs are only triggered individually
Gunnar81 replied to felixx75's topic in Problems and Bugs
Hi, you are right. I did some more testing and while changing parameters can work the bombs are landing quite far off for both CCIP or CCRP. I just found a thread in the Weapons Bugs here: It appears the issue was fixed for the F-18, but someone in the thread states that the AV-8B and F14 are the responsibility of the module creators to keep maintained and its not a Weapons bug so much as it is a HUD bug...Might never get fixed for the Harrier now. -
Lunar Sale | Su-25A Announced | MiG-29 Pilot Helmet

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" -
Maybe be thankful your purchase helped allow other players or new players to enjoy the upcoming new model for free? Why the negativity for one of the cheapest modules you can buy?

I think the next update for this map is going to add another big portion plus bring it up to Iraq standards so we just gotta be patient to get the reward. EA remember...

Salvo doesn't work for unguided rockets

I was really hoping the 2025 vid would give a flash of a FF Froggie but looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer. The FC3 one is still one of my favs, minus that cockpit geometry bug that been around for years but it can be lived with. -
Thats not the way business contracts and subcontracting works, sorry. The fine print most likely has ED obligated to keep selling until a resolution changes the contract outline. The world isnt as black and white as how you have it laid out above..

Im trying to find the stone tablets that decree every 3rd party developer will be a solvent business in a niche market and will be around for the next 1000 years to support their modules but I seem to have misplaced them....

Fingers crossed to the breaking point..lol

CBU's fall too short, and bombs are only triggered individually
Gunnar81 replied to felixx75's topic in Problems and Bugs
Just want to revisit this one again as I've been practicing with CBU's in the Harrier. I've found that changing the fuse type to OP which has a 4S delay for canister separation has been working like a hot damn. My employment parameters are single CBU 99 dropped with CCIP at around a 30° or steeper dive at around 4000 feet MAX. I've scored direct hits on BMP's every time with this scenario. I am going to keep trying a few more things like bombs in pairs and setting the fuses in PRI mode for 4S delay to try as well. *Edit: I'm not sure this is actually a bug anymore gents, or ever was. I think it all has to do with employment dive angle, altitude and FUNCTION DELAY fuse settings of either PRI or OPT fuse options. In my findings a CCIP dive attack of around 30-35° with bomb release at around 4000 feet altitude above target with Function delay fuse settings of 2.5seconds on PRI FUSE blasts the target dead on and the canisters do in fact open 2.5S after leaving the weapon racks. I'm sure there is some kind of formula for '...at this dive angle and altitude release use Function Delay time of XXXXX' but I can't be bothered to do anything more than trial and error. I do know that a 4 second Function Delay for my above attack parameters resulted in the canisters not opening in time and the CBU's slammed into the BMP directly, while there was a small explosion the target was unaffected or took minimal damage.
