  1. I'm sure you've already checked into this but it does sound like you've had a resolution setting change with Windows.
  2. New Patch coming this week? Been a long wait for issues that popped up with the last one regarding mission triggers.
  3. Someone else might be able to confirm this for me but I am pretty sure the Harrier doesn't have Fly By Wire, so maybe that helps get you started?
  4. I like the map, but I have to agree. It should have maybe been named Strait of Hormuz instead.
  5. This is related to a bug that ED is aware of regarding trigger zones and it is supposedly fixed internally in their build. We should see a bunch of campaign issues currently affecting a bunch of missions fixed with the next patch. Hopefully, this upcoming week if we are lucky!
  6. Thank you sir, you've opened an entire new world for me!
  7. Sorry to necro this one up from the grave CHPL but I was wondering if I could borrow some of your knowledge? Do you know what script or argument numbers are for setting the door gunners status? I'd like to make a mission similar to Reflected's Paradise Lost where the mission creator controls when the door gunners free fire/hold fire but I can't seem to find the proper Lua command for that similar to the side door open/close command.
  8. This is correct for the Harrier, its systems only allows 1 video feed to be displayed at any given time. So the procedure if you are self lasing is to make sure you designate and fire your laser in the TGP screen then switch to LMAV. You should see the seeker track across the HUD and find the laser spot if everything is done right.
  9. Thanks for finding that.
  10. Razbam had a newsletter a while back where they mentioned the first half of this year was going to be a big push for the Strike Eagle updates and fixes and come summer time they were going to revisit the Harrier and give it some much needed attention. Wish I could find the link to that article but I can't, so we could be waiting a while on this one.
  11. This is good to hear as it seems right now almost all of the recent campaigns for the Hind are affected by this bug right.
  12. I found that with this campaign sometimes I have to land on the FARP at the end of the mission, then pick the helo up off the ground a few meters and land again and zero the throttle and THEN I will get the queue that 'mission is complete'. I don't know what is could be but my hunch is an altitude trigger? Maybe the dev could have a look and confirm. Otherwise good campaign.
  13. The AH-1W and I would be able to die complete! There's another vid out with Mover and Wags (can't find the link) where he says all the data for the AH-1W is now available and he alludes to 'one day we'll get around to it'.
  14. Genius! These last few years I've always wondering why that texture is gone but I think you are absolutely correct as you can see the proper model underneath. You'd think that would be an easy fix for ED?
  15. Don't forget this one: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3322448/ Its a gem of a mission set that you can play single or multiplayer.
  16. This issue has pretty much made most campaign missions unplayable, I hope this is on the top of the fix list because as of right now everytime you destroy a group of enemies that has an alternate trigger to say escape, you mission fail!! I can't progress in the Border Prequel campaign as I keep triggering a fail mission when I destroy the required targets! And YoYo, I'd like to start your campaign but I worry I'll be wasting my time until this is fixed? Are the first few missions ok to go on as far as you know?
  17. Looks awesome, can't wait to try tomorrow when I have time!
  18. I just flew this one, let the Mi 26 land and I landed on the pad next to it at the FARP but I ended up with a score of 50. My wingman was off flying back into Russia so I'm not sure if there is a victory trigger issue with this one? One thing I did notice was setting my altimeter to 760 when asked to, the prompt never went away. Otherwise this is already looking like an enjoyable campaign, I love the scenic relocation flight going through the mountains! I played your Pandemic Campaign and I really enjoy your mission style. *This all ended up being landing placement on the FARP, once I landed on the correct pad the mission completed.* Great first mission!
  19. Its unfortunate but I think you could be waiting a while. Razbam released some news on their Discord stating that the Harrier will be getting some substantial updates to bring it up to Strike Eagle quality, but that will be in mid-ish 2024. Until then I don't think we'll see any official content for the Harrier, but who knows...
  20. Just curious but are you playing another flight sim to fill the void? Or just simmed out?
  21. Hi Baltic, not to hijack this thread for mission 1 but there is a similar issue with Mission 6, the long Manual Reversion AAR sortie. Right around the AAR practice part ( I flew the whole mission, not the smaller portions) BIFF's comms quit coming coming through and didn't return until I was finished the mission and taxiing to park. I would still get the summary and space bar push requests so I was able to interpolate what I was supposed to do but any chatter between him and the player wasn't present.
  22. Outstanding reply, thanks a bunch. Too bad we don't have a more straightforward method using the parking slot commands but this works!
  23. I don't know what I am doing wrong then. If I start a new mission in the editor and plop a Huey down on the Tarawa, it doesn't matter where I want it to ramp start, it always starts right at the bow.
  24. The Border -Prequel is also available for the Hind. Armen's previous campaign for the Black Shark was pretty good so I bet this one is of the same quality.
  25. Agreed 100%. I went from flying the Apache a lot and back to the Hind after 6 or more months and I rolled it over to pull a tight turn and it pitched up and bled airspeed so fast I almost dropped out of the sky. Totally my fault. But yes if you treat it more like a plane with big deliberate movements it feels really stable.
