Found these pictures of Su-30MK2s with PL-12s and PL-8s Does Deka know if this is just a trial like in the J-11A's case, or part of an official upgrade? Does it only apply to the MK2 or MKK aswell.

Are you sure about that? Deka has said they're debating internal whether to do the MKK or not. I'm also not sure what your far right politics has to do with future DCS modules but please keep that to yourself. You really should brush up on your English before make such pointed and baseless accusations, and before you use sources that actually work against your argument. It only makes you look like a fool. No where did I say it was a lack of wanting, my post acknowledged that in reality they had tried but restrictive laws had hampered any effort to make those modules.

I think its based on what certain ED people have said for some time that when they looked at the sales of MiG-15s vs F-86s and UH-1s vs Mi-8s the US ones out sold their Russian counterparts. This led them to think Redfor modules would not sell as well. Though over time, I've learned one thing is that ED has lots of double talk and lies often. If there truly was no money in Redfor why is it that at one point in 2014~2012 iirc they tried to do a Su-27SM1 and later a Su-27S? Why did they try to do a more modern upgrade for the Ka-50? Why are they trying to do a MiG-29A and Hind? It shows they like Russian money just as much as they like American money. But they have those legal handicaps preventing them from making what they know the community want regardless props to them trying to get as close to it as possible. If OP would like a more modern redfor fast jet or attack helicopter its best to ask Deka for it they might just make something like a Su-30MKK or Z-9 if we're lucky

Many export F-16 operators have AIM-7 capable planes ROCAF among them. onto the OP the night strike falcon with the WAR HUD would be awesome to have but lets not forget what happened with the RAZBAM F-15E where it was originally going to be a model comparable in weapons and capabilities to what you describe (no 9x or 120c5 or MIDS) and they went back on that and made it a noughties aircraft Not that the idea is bad its probably only going to be revisited by ED after some time passes and the current teen series planes are done and they seem themselves with no new projects to do in the modern fast mover arena I mean ideally that's what should have been done in the beginning, offer packs giving 2 or 3 variants of the plane at different parts of its life

I have a new found faith in a later J-11A or even the current version being made. They are as ED says a 3rd party and given what @LJQCN101 said about the Su-30MKK, if that is some what on the table a J-11A be it either an early or late model is 100% possible if they decided to.

Interesting, how would it work? Would the missile plug in a less than optimal navigation constant into its pro nav formula degrading HOJ shot lethality? Would it have effects on the APN as in removing it in some circumstances? Also later on you mention DRFM ECCM techniques irl. Could you elaborate in theory how this would work? Surely discussing that from a purely theoretical perspective isn't illegal. Does it necessitate an AESA seeker as well? Can it be done with a high end MSA radar like a Captor?

That's the problem the quick automatic transitions between passive and active make it so that the Jammer 'blinks'. This messes with the missile and radar API so that it doesn't work how ED intended ECM to behave. Its behavior should be made similar to the upcoming F/A-18 Jammer or F-15, closer to how ED wants it to behave.

If they're going to implement the F/A-18 ECM without the warm up this tells me that there is either a mild change coming to the ECM API and all planes will follow suit Or that they don't play their own game. I sure hope its not the latter.

Not quite, the ECM in SP and MP currently 'blinks' by turning off and on quickly which ends up with an inability for the Jammed plane to put a HOJ shot out. ED decided then to add a 15 second warm up time every time ECM was turned on. Will you be adding this to the Tomcat anytime soon? Also on the topic of Jamming the F/A-18 is getting the ability to jam and be jammed soon, and its very likely the F-16 will too. Do you plan to make the F-14's radar be affected by jammers and jam people in the same way as these other ED modules?

Because bandits with RWRs that can detect you generally speaking turn to not get shot at. The question becomes at what range should they start turning? With the CFD AIM-120 + its new guidance laws like lofting you generally saw those ranges for posturing shots go up (because of the missiles better retention of energy in turns which as we all know cost energy and of course better APN meaning no more dramatic turns while still quite some distance from the bandit and this leads to once again better energy retention) while Pk remained the same since people learned the new ranges, a shot that doesn't hit isn't necessarily a bad shot if it let you get into a spot where you can shoot him and he can't shoot you. In August last year you threw REDFOR a bone, which the DCS community as a whole is pretty thankful for I believe, with the tweaked drag to the R-27/77 and yes such a small change did help a bit, this all has lead us to believe there is more around the corner when a full CFD is completed and same for the new autopilot changes.

I wonder if ED has ever contemplated doing flying laboratory aircraft as modules? Something like the 2000s Su-35UB which if I'm not mistaken was Su-30MKI airframe and engines with MKK avionics

I mean sounds good but I think we've tried showing them all the info possible and so far I've only seen empty promises from the devs I think I've lost my patience for reporting bugsand what not but maybe thats because I haven't been with the game as long as you.
