This is what I don't understand. Stable guys have to know the hold up isn't because ED is pointing and laughing at them (well no more then they do to all of us really) and 2.5.6 isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread and us OB guys don't want ya'll to have it. If you're that damn impatient for the JF (or any new feature currently in OB), download OB and delete it when stable is updated. Why push ED to screw up even more. Let them fix 2.5.6, then hopefully all the shinny bells and whistles can appear on the Stable for ya'll to complain about just like we do on OB. I'm guessing most of the complaint department on stable isn't into other video games, where update patches and new DLC can take 6-8 months between sometimes. Granted news and updates on when patches are coming from ED would be the most help.

But there in lines the problem, if you are still testing at the 11th hour then it shouldn't be released. I'm not talking run of the mill testing, I mean major game breaking bug testing should not still be going on the 11th hour, you would think that probably should be done before the 72 hr before release. You beg for trouble if that's the way you want to do it. Stuff will slip through, I mean that is what OB is for right? At this point those features should be wrapped up sitting in line to leave the floor. If it ain't ready to do that, be open and honest and push it to the next patch, nothing wrong with that.

Like the main page in the game, where you can see all your modules or the first loading screen with DCS on it? The SC isn't out yet so there is nothing to download at the moment.

You can view the tacan info with going to F10 by using the HSI Data page, but you can store them in the UFC. like sigfan said, a track file would help, but off the top of my head was you air speed low? Weird it didn't go away if you gained altitude/speed.

I brought this up and I got the typical response, "Sorry you feel that way, we can't please everybody.". They did start last week giving more details about the closed testing going well, but it still falls back to what you are talking about with comms. They did have that little blast in last weeks (or whenever it was created) newsletter about the testing, but it was pretty slim pickings. Although having said that, did at least have some info in it. Wish it would have been more, but my guess is that is as good as it gets for the time being. One day, fingers crossed.

Yea but when they made that stupid last minute announcement on the 15th that is wasn't going to be ready, that kinda scratched the post you shared. Now their saying sometime around the end of May to the start of 2021 (being sarcastic with that last bit). Not super happy with EDs comms on this issue but they did say it was postponed on the 15th, therefore we have to move on from that date.

How did I know you would be quick to jump in this thread Razor. Every time someone brings up wake you're the first person I think of. I do hope they do it but at this point I just want the boat.

Yea youtubers getting early access or even detailed "previews" isn't really anything new. It's pretty common place, and should probably be taken in a good light. I know I have been super critical of ED lately but that little piece of info tells a lot about where they are at with the build, I think anyway.

Not anymore important or significant than anyone else around here and damn sure not "sensitive" about it. Remember Kate talking numbers but it was more SP vs MP I thought. I will have to check again. Hopefully Stable gets updated, 2 or three more months should be fine to make sure it's worthy of "largest DCS community".

Yea back dating like that doesn't seem very smart. Wondering why they did that or if it was a glitch. I mean DCS and glitches are kinda an item at the moment.

Do you have any data to support your dribble? Any numbers to show the majority of DCS players use Stable? A spreadsheet of ED's bills payed for by only Stable users? You're mad, I get that as I am fairly pissed at ED as well but without any data you're just spewing non-sense. Last patch for OB wasn't the greatest, you sure you want that thrown your way? Let'em fix it 2.5.6 first and then worry about Stable.

I wondered that myself Gierasimov. I wonder if it is due to the fact that there just isn't anything new to share, like we have seen all we are getting as far as the EA? Deck crew working and directing aircraft, launching and recovery. I know the AirBoss and LSO stations where supposed to come later in EA. Hope I'm wrong in thinking that though.

We've been asking for something like this for the a while, they don't seem to care to do that. 9L said they are more than happy to let users cut and paste that information where needed. Unfortunately that means it is up to us, though some guys around here do share a lot of the information, you just have to search for it. This is all in our best interest of course as ED is one of the best in the area of communication.

ummm.........so no patch this week? No update as to when we will see a patch? interesting....... Anyone have an example of what the errors were in the liveries for the A-20G? Also, were the issues listed in KNOWN ISSUES section actually fixed or were they just saying they knew about them?

But they said they were really sorry about that. Said they knew they messed up. I mean we have to trust them now right? Let's be real here, their one of the best in terms of communication so surely we should over look everything. Serious though, agree with you, but they ain't having none of it.
