Yeah, no, it's not - it is supposed to be an accurate simulation of an RL boat. And I suppose that at some point during the EA of this module we will be able to set up the IFLOLS correctly for various birds.
A solid "no" to all of your questions, even in real life. The HOTAS implementation in Navy birds is weirdly sub-par compared to Air Force birds (looking at you, Viper).
Yeah, me too - it is much better and I don't have issues with the HUD either. I can see the most important stuff easily and just lean in a bit if I want to see all.
It probably will see some more tweaking, too, so I am pretty chill about that.
We have, and we use it. But only with the appropriate amount of radios and channels, replicating what would be used in real life. Just like we don't want to touch guard frequency.
Either way - I can hear it, but I don't even notice it anymore after a few seconds. Interesting, that it is such an annoying sound for other people, wouldn't have thought that.
It will feature all ships of the Roosevelt sub-class, including the Stennis (CVN 71 - 75). From the newsletter:
"Another item in development is the DCS: Supercarrier module. We recently completed the external model, and we plan to make CVN-71 & CVN-74 versions available at early access launch. The team is now focused on implementing the high-poly Landing Signal Officer (LSO) and Air Boss stations. Here is a list of the planned Early Access features, but this list is subject to change."

Thus, like I said: the Stennis will be a skin of the Supercarrier module. The regular free Stennis will stay in game on top of that.
That's very much possible, depending on the actual implementation within DCS and whether that is finished according to the modeled software version or still WIP
The F-18 can build up to 10 trackfiles plus L&S and DT2, so that's the maximum you can engage. Easiest is to switch into TWS, have it auto-designate the L&S, FOX-3, step L&S with Undesignate-To-Designate, repeat.
That is perfectly alright and I just had to smirk because I literally bought the campaign a few weeks ago. Anyway: thanks for everything and the great and detailed information. I feel that is so important!
