The F-18 can build up to 10 trackfiles plus L&S and DT2, so that's the maximum you can engage. Easiest is to switch into TWS, have it auto-designate the L&S, FOX-3, step L&S with Undesignate-To-Designate, repeat.
That is perfectly alright and I just had to smirk because I literally bought the campaign a few weeks ago. Anyway: thanks for everything and the great and detailed information. I feel that is so important!
Now I feel stupid that I bought the Red Flag Campaign in the Halloween Sale, but on the other hand I don't feel stupid for supporting the game I love, so here's to a brilliant release!
I seem to remember that a few Hog drivers in this here forum commented on the RL HUD visibility being a bit sub-par, too. Don't quote me on that, but I think it is pretty true to life.
Still, it depends on contractual details, too, and like has been said at some points: modifying systems would probably need renegotiating with the ANG and / or others, and there has been no hint of such thing so far.
Heres to hoping, but like NineLine just said: no such thing is even remotely official so far
Undesignate button:
- create L&S if none is present
- step L&S if one is present
- swap L&S and DT2 if both are present
RAID button:
- enter/exit RAID mode
TDC designate:
- enter/exit manual scan centering
- designate L&S / enter STT
Sensor Select Switch in direction of Attack Radar page:
- Fast Acq
- AACQ (bit bugged)
- Bump Acq (not yet implemented afaik)
No, he is talking about the missile in-flight indicator. You can see it later in the video, when Wags shoots the AIM-7
AFAIK that is only depicted in STT, so it would be correct for not showing in TWS.
Well, you COULD have quoted my final sentence, too, Mr. Metric :P
"Since it doesn't take away from my experience, I wouldn't work myself up over it, though, so when the devs say "eh, let's do it": good for you, and more power to you!"
You can move your stable to beta with literally one command and a few megs of delta download. You don't need both. There is next to no reason to run stable in the first place.
