  1. Hard to tell until the own ship weights issue gets resolved. Talking about disparity between landing checklist page and rearm window. That being said, they might have some over heating effect being simulated that we’re unaware of.

Setting a TOO then selecting stations for release uses each stations selected TOO not the first station ie the TOO does not get copied over to all stations selected for release You want two bombs on one target you need to set TOO on both stations to target then from either station select the other for simultaneous release. No idea if the real hornet works this way or the way you thought, I had the same head scratcher myself. Some tips I found You can copy a TOO into a PP not the other way and you can convert lat longs in the waypoint page by changing the AC waypoint mode then push it over to a TOO then copy into a PP if you want to “save” the target into a station. I find TOO pointless currently without the TGP and other than the above situation I use PP

  6. This is the exact reason why I don't join PVP. Although, I haven't been missing much, just eagles and hornets hugging hills making popup attacks, tomcats throwing aim54's out like the tax payers dirty laundry, and everyone else blind charge into enemy lines out of boredom or frustration. PVE offers far more immersion, options for co-op (and I say 'options' because this is often not the case) ect. PVP is just not feasible, and I do mean public vs public, not a gang of stick tuggers steam rolling.
  7. I hit the paddle switch disconnect when I want full control of the bird, and it really is a different dance with only yaw sas on. AP is excellent when on approach, it lightens pilot load, it’s essential in turbulence, and Case 3. Other than that cruising with AP is a no brainer.
  8. Seems to go active when TWS is lost and goes to last contact location I even saw one re engage a TWS after being lost and going active Also chucking them in general direction active off the rails works far better Made a kill at about 35 nm like this.

Reminds me of the story of NORAD mistaking the rising moon as a soviet ICBM launch, and all that saved us was a Canadian general recalling seeing Gorbachev in Washington on TV that night. Stories of “duct tape” mods made in field, troops up armour hummvs in theatre with scrap steel, awesome just awesome! The millennium falcon is probably the most realistic sci fi vehicle.

  13. Possibly RIO has mk83 HD selected? Would be my first guess, can’t recall if there is a high drag on weapon selection drum.
  14. If you’re flying BVR looking down at the TID, you issue is jester not being competent. Try a real RIO, then the pilot just flies, RIO handles everything even missile launch. Pilot just chauffeur RIO around, after the merge the roles flip.
  15. Although it’s not the TCS but the AUG9 that is looking at the target. Same thing when you go A2G guns Diamond stays until AUG9 can give firing solution.

  18. The floating T puts you on an intercept course, with ACM up, it puts you nose hot. The range bar, let’s call it yard stick, small bar on the right is max release range, the fat bar on the left is range to target. This is a bit bugged at the moment because the scale of the yardstick is on lower left of VDI but doesn’t correspond to the range yardstick on HUD. You can still reference the range carrot and rmax however.
  19. In VR I can stand up and walk around to RIO and click everything, most of the lower consoles are missing textures but they are still click able. Do it all the time in MP with jester.
  20. Try loading 4 sparrow in centre, then reload 4 Phoenix and watch the Phoenix seem to hang in space without their mounts.
  21. This would match nicely with the buffet effect already in game, I would also love to see transonic shock cones, we already get buffet at m0.95 ish
  22. AWG9 is supposed to be difficult to notch in a look up scenario, but you loose a lot of the huge advantage of range the Phoenix offers. Although I haven’t tested this.
  23. I’d love to see if those numbers can be duplicated. It’s clear enough to see his load out, airspeed, and altitude in picture. Assume 50% fuel maybe 30% best case. A 400 knot 5 degree 1700foot ASL dive, and yes I know he’s pulling out of it. The most I’ve seen in 8 years of DcS A10 is 3000 pounds of fuel flow and 83 maybe 84 % fan speed. Also his core RPM is only 94% This dude is flying a missile with a man in it!
  24. How about a money system? Having to purchase aircraft, repairs, and weapons. All from the team money pool?
  25. ACL uses data link from carrier, and is prerequisite for auto carrier landing (ACL)
