You are right but it still very rough estimation. Because PIMAX and Lenovo are actually using different APIs in the end. So it really depends on how good WMR driver for SteamVR is compared to PIMAX driver.

I don't get it what is the problem with FB account requirment. Why not have account and use it only for logins? You should not be using Facebook for anything meaningful anyways

These settings are multiplicative. Also PD is per eye, and SteamVR SS is for total resolution. So you were running at 150% native resolution. Now you are running at 400% * 52% = 208% of native resolution. So copit it easier to read obviously. But you you are also getting lower fps.

I've mailed them couple of weeks ago and they explained that if your order status is "Processing" you are all set. As soon as they receive headsets from HP they will ship them and status will change.

I never understood all this Vulkan hype. There are tons of games that work flawlessly on directx 11. So it's definantely not problem of directX, but rather problem of ED not having world class graphics engine developers. They should just license UE5 and let Epic handle low level stuff

Last 2 generations of nvidia GPU support automatic overclocking which works just fine if you are not pro-overclocker. It requires 30 mins of time tops and doesn't require you to do anything

I rented Index just to check if it's worth upgrading from Rift S. And i should say that difference is minor. Index has superior controllers and headphones, but visuals are more a less the same. As for 144Hz yes it was possible to spot the difference if i looked for it. But when actually playing the game it makes no difference. What i really don't like is that Index is extremely hot.

Oculus has to be very conservative with recommendations. Just imagine what would happen if their recommened settings would cause slutters in 1% of games. Tech resources and forums would be flooded with "oculus killed link performance!!11"

This does not work for a long time. But guys keep posting that they switched dcs from oculus to steamvr. It probably simply means that they changed option in skatezilla's updater.

I've upgraded from t16000m to Constellation alpha and i'm dissapointed to say the least. First of all t16000 turned out to be pretty good product despite being 8 times less expensive. Second of all while Alpha has insane ammount of buttons, hats and switches all these damn buttons are impossible to press reliably. I constantly press more than one directon. Also twisting to the right and using any buttons at the same time is nearly impossible task.
