This (image) is it starting to download stable version. This will be the base install and then i imagine updates and modules may follow so i would take an educated guess at 40+GBs. Recommended 120GB SSD space with my install being 185GB with quite a few modules and liveries installed

As per title, when Nav lights/Pos Lights are on, there seems to be a white light source which i cannot find on the external model. It lights the wings, the inside of the intake ducts and, what would appear to be behind the turbine. I assume this is not true to life? Can it be looked at as should be a simple fix and is ruining the mojo for me

Also happens with standard Sweedish cockpit, fyi
-
Twice in a row, pressing IFF Ident at startup (no reason, just did), causes Runtime error and CTD.
-
Alternatively....well i dare not say it but i know what i would do :P

"Whether a genuine accident or not, once the cat has urinated or defecated at a particular spot, the animal’s sensitive nose encourages the cat to use that place again. The best way to break the habit is to keep the cat away from the area for as long as possible and remove any residual smell the cat could detect. Wash the area with a solution of biological or enzymatic washing liquid/powder and then use a plant-mister to spray it with surgical spirit. Scrub this off too and leave it to dry. You are advised to try a small area first on delicate fabrics. Placing some dried cat food in the area may help to prevent the cat using it again for this purpose. Retraining Some cats need to be retrained to use a litter tray in the same way that kittens are trained by their mother not to soil their bed. Initially the mother removes the waste and, by a couple of weeks old, kittens learn to leave the nest to urinate and defecate. Placing the cat in a large pen with a bed and litter tray mimics this early learning. In a pen there is little option but to use the tray. In this way the cat should learn to associate toileting with the litter tray. Let your cat out at a time when you can watch, and put the cat back on the tray if you see them heading for a soiling spot or behaving as if about to urinate or defecate. If an accident does happen, clean it up with tissue and place the soiled tissue in the tray so the cat learns to make the associations you want. The cat may get the idea within a few days, however it may take a few weeks. When the cat has started using the tray properly, gradually reintroduce the animal to the rest of the house, one room at a time so that you can supervise and prevent accidents happening."

[NO BUG, IT ACTUALLY CAN] Gazelle STILL can't contact AWACS...
Bagpipe replied to D4n's topic in Bugs and Problems
Looking at all the upcoming helicopter modules (Hind, BO etc..) i am AMAZED that this is even still an issue with DCS. Not something i have ever tried but can see why it would be terrible in certain situations. Needs to be reported to ED if it is same for all Helos -
[ACKNOWLEDGED] Cockpit lights and screens dim after last update?
Bagpipe replied to Surrexen's topic in Bugs and Problems
Is this being addressed soon? I mouse click the controls so seems it should be a very simple fix, kind of upsetting it hasn't been dealt with yet tbh  -
FYI, got the 'cat and really enjoying it so far. Really threw me off at first with how weighty it felt but once you hone in on it, it's really quite something. Really enjoying the Viggen aswell with the updates. Good job HB, now let's see some of that F14A action...lol (never satisfied, ho-hum)

I thought AMRAAM was specifically referring to the "AIM-120 AMRAAM" I don't think other missiles are referred to as AMRAAM or MRAAM as they will have their own nomenclature? Could be wrong though
-
Not sure what you mean Jerec, haven't experienced that myself. Also, Jeff doesn't carry AMRAAM as such? Cheers
-
I'm looking at you OverStratos, i know you will be lurking somewhere around here :P Throw us a bone

Yeah, looks like another windows update maybe... Every time windows releases a tiny update my DCS goes haywire. Frustrating. I had checked everything else and ran repairs etc but always forget to check windows because it should notify me automatically lol Cheers again mate

So if i see "DX11 backend" in future is it memory related as i have been seeing this alot in previous reports?
-
Getting very frequent crashes, happens alot in the F14 but not limited to that aircraft. Just got the cat so been flying it a bit more than the others the past week. Most recent crash.dmp; # -------------- 20191229-203917 -------------- DCS/2.5.5.41371 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.18363) D:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\edterrainGraphics41.dll # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at BA5FA223 00:00000000 Any ideas?

As above, curious to know what the short-mid term plans are for progressing this module. I didn't see anything about it in the Razbam plans announcement recently? Obviously Harrier will be next on the priority list but what can we expect for the Mig? Thanks:)

Don't edit the LUA files. No longer required since the function was added to the module.

Hello, Can anybody advise what is the default wingman comm1 channel preset? I can't figure out how to communicate with my wingman in this jet. :helpsmilie:
-
Yes. FOV is very narrow, everything is zoomed way in. Also at night, the reflected lights look like my GPU is having a meltdown. And when i hit M key the mirrors fold back and freeze the previous image instead of turning off?
-
Have the mirrors been mentioned yet? They are terrible. Like...really bad. Don;t get me wrong the systems are tremendous and i am seriously, seriously loving this thing but them mirrors need looked at and quick. Is this part of the WIP cockpit? Cheers

Over-reaction much?

[NEED TRACK REPLAY]AI rubber banding offline
Bagpipe replied to Bagpipe's topic in Aircraft AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
Hi, It's hard to pin down as happens sporadically. It's not so much rubber banding as the AI flying at strange angles to maintain formation. I.e. They are on a bearing of say 000 and will bank 45 degrees left and then mysteriously fly bottom first at a bearing of 090. As if being dragged about the sky but not in a regular back and forth "rubber banding" way which you might encounter online. Experienced on both PG and NV map in F14 and Mig 21 both at high and low altitudes. If i ever manage to capture some footage of it happening i will post here. Unless flying in close formation or using F2 to view wingman you would never notice it.
