  1. Yeah i just tried mission 2 and flight lead took off after instructing to remain at ground idle, all the radio triggers were messed up too. I followed him and he landed somewhere else in the airfield and then refused to proceed with the mission when cleared by the tower. Looking forward to a fix soon hopefully!
  2. Hey man, Have done all the usual repair stuff. Will have a look at clean driver install with DDU
  3. Hi guys, So I have not been suffering too much on performance since 2.7 which has been absolutely fantastic. However, I recently bought and installed another sim which runs on DX9 and when I flew DCS today my performance has completely plummeted to a slideshow. I am unsure if this is coincidental or if there would be a reason that installing DX9 onto my system would interfere with DCS in any way? Hopefully somebody can shed some light
  4. Can't seem to start any Mig-21 missions, instant actions or ME set ups at all since latest update. Removed all mods and repaired, deleted FXO/metashaders etc. but nothing working. Please advise, probably something on my end dcs.log-20210424-171933.zip @BIGNEWYyou are usually good at deciphering these log files pal
  5. Thank you! Hopefully that is easier for you than teaching me Spanish! Awesome wee module btw guys, really love it.
  6. LOL Tomcat! Jeez I suck Yeah, that's the bit that works as irl. The bit I am concerned with is the speed brake still operating?? Thanks!
  7. I will try again with MBOT and yeah could give liberation a go too as enjoyed that with the Hornet before Ta
  8. Not sure if this is a bug or as irl but I am flying around in the hornet just now and took some damage but on approach i noticed my hydraulic pressure was gone as was my backup/emerg hydraulics so had to use emergency gear down and can't sweep wings forward. However, I can open and close my speed brake all day long still... Is this on a seperate system or is something else going on?
  9. I had them working a while back but since can't get the MBOT stuff to work/install. It's so flippin' complicated, even the newer ones with installer don't seem to work for me
  10. Thought my eyes were needing tested for a moment... It's only with the lights on, fine without lights on
  11. This sim badly needs more/newer single player M2000C missions. Anybody any recommendations?
  12. Thanks for the image showing us where to find the wallpapers man! I have shared on social media so hopefully more people can see about it
  13. So are these all updated to 2.7 now? If so I am jumping straight back into The Big Show and then Yalu!
  14. I would like to thank and congratulate whichever person(s) are personally responsible for the outstanding work in updating the ME. I am not even a mission designer but I am absolutely blown away with what must have been a monumental amount of work to re-organize and structure everything in the ME into a more comprehensible format. It's almost a shame the clouds overshadowed (boom boom) their excellent work! More of the same please
  15. Hey, trying this in 2.7 and am not hearing the wingman comms when prompted to press space bar, Probably wrong frequency but i cannot find the correct freq. and ahve not been prompted to tune to a particular one.
  16. This is also affecting the community A-4E btw...as i have just discovered. So not just F14
  17. I am experiencing an occasional issue when flying DCS in VR where the lower portion of the screens become washed out. It is as though a line is drawn on the monitors and below this line the brightness/saturation is off. It is very noticeable but there IS still colour present. Almost like the gamma has been cranked way up on this part of the screen. Only experienced in DCS using Quest 2, no other titles. Wondering if anybody else has experienced and knows of a cause/fix Cheers folks!
  18. Absolutely...Crawl, walk, run
  19. On that same note you could enquire about AI formation flying in general. It is and has always been too rigid. In the same way that these AI pilots try to inhabit the same airspace as their counterparts, an AI wingman will fly rigidly in position until you pull a maneuver of sorts (i.e. a roll or tight turn) which causes the AI to seemingly spasm/slew across the virtual air until they are back in position before resuming. Possibly there could be a way to reduce this "rigidity"? Or to add some logic which causes the AI wingman to fly back into formation as opposed to slewing. I don't know I am not a programmer but it is something I notice regularly as I fly alot of SP.
  20. That post doesn't resemble an "official announcement" in any form i'm afraid. You can't hold them at gunpoint over something they glazed over in the forums. Sure it will turn up eventually but it hasn't been scheduled on any official timeline or anything so let's not drag this out any further than it already has been
  21. You can score that one of your list then!
  22. Exactly that! lol It's a gradual increase from green to red so just keep tapping til you find the balance you prefer
  23. @Pilot Ike It is something they would like to do but this has not been officially announced by the team so no point in arguing about it really
  24. From what I can see, any deviation from centre of the axis/dial starts the ASP-5 mil dial turning in that direction and to stop it you have to perfectly centre the dial again. Deka had a similar issue with their radar deflection at one point IIRC. By default it is acting as above but when you put a custom curve on etc you can get it to start turning slowly but it never stops and by the time you adjust the settings to being almost usable the saturation is so fine that the input gets jumpy. Think it may be something to do with the wrong "iCommand" in the Lua file but I am a bit out of my depth there. My terminology is prob not the best, wish I could help more!
