So DCS used to allow switching from say Speakers > Headphones and vice versa when the sim was running but it is not the case anymore. Is it possible to reintegrate this as it is infuriating having to restart the sim every time I wish to switch output. Is this the same for everyone or is it my issue specifically I wonder? Or is it a limitation since the 2.5.6 engine/build/thing-a-ma-bobbery...? Ta

They have said over and over that once they finish fixing the harrier they will move on to the next module for bug fixing which in this case is the Mig-19. They never promised an S variant nor said they would not do one. They did not commit fully either way IIRC.

Yeah i am dropping in CCIP and selecting 5 mil but it remains on 3/9? I'll have another look and make sure my profiles are not conflicting or something...

Hello, Not sure if it's me doing something stupid but when trying to drop CBU-97 I selected 3/9 consent and then changed it to 5 mil. Problem is the consent type remains 3/9 with either consent type selected i.e. Select 5 Mil and it will still be in 3/9 mode. TIA for assistance

This may come across condescending but I assure you it's not. Not sure what you mean as honestly can't see anything by the time I blow the image up to have a look... Not sure what you are referring to with "HMD dial" though? Do you have the blank portion behind the stick between the pedal adjustment levers? The old A10C had some switches and dials down there which were removed for the upgrade

Hey you' re images are tiny so very hard to see what's going on. Mine is loading in okay with A10C II instant actions. Are you sure it is definitely not the tank killer you're sitting in?

If it is working fine for others and also for yourself in the L39C then there must be a conflict in your L39ZA input settings surely? That is the only reason i can imagine why one would work fine and not the other.

As title says the radar cone displayed in the HSD is stuck at max range regardless of which setting i have displaying on the FCR page. Is this a common bug among the community or something on my end? Have run a full (slow) repair and still like this

Oh heck you're right what i thought was the big update was only the tiny DCS 2.5.6.58125 Open Beta patch which i must have missed!! Well yeah going by the latest patch notes. I already have the Dec 17th update installed and the notes were literally 10x longer so...?? Am i missing something really obvious(probably)?

I only have 47GB free on my dcs install drive so can't download the 60gb of temp update files. For a small update this is really inconvenient. Any ideas around this? Can we not download it half at a time or something?

Currently flying a Liberation campaign and about 30nm out from the carrier in the Tomcat I bring up the radio menu and under ATC i can see nothing but Hatay, Tarawa and a whole heap of Arleigh Burkes... My question is, is there a way to get rid of all the Arleigh Burkes and only display relevant ATC. Or even better, only display the actual ATC you are tuned to. Not sure if this is a mission specific issue but it certainly opens up the conversation regarding the general radio menu in DCS. I wonder if there is work being done on this to streamline/update the radio menus?

Most likely the same issue as the black exhaust trails causing frame drops when zoomed in close. I believe it has something to do with rendering so many particles. With regard to the exhaust trails, you can edit a settings file to reduce the particle count and reduce the stutters/frame drops but it breaks IC so not alot of use for most :(

I like the idea but it that method would interfere with what I use the wheel axis for in my other modules. really good idea though! damn...:( An axis bind would just be really useful for this module as i have the T1600 hotas and it is just slightly lacking buttons on the throttle.

So to be clear...ED are allowed to make keyboard keybinds for every function but not for speed brakes on an axis because it doesn't exist in the real aircraft. The logic there is escaping me I am afraid. It's not like the A10 features a QWERTY keyboard either...:music_whistling::) @eagledynamics, would it be possible for you to integrate the A10 speedbrakes to an axis. I have a spare hotas wheel i would like to use for this function instead of requiring to use two buttons and a modifier. Thank you
