I was flying with it in missions....the Su27 mission and the quick start Su27 mission and in both cases it is absent. I think it has somehting to do with the skin?

Manuel...the serial is printed on the throttle unit in the front..its engraved on a metal plaque.

Yup! I am in for 60$ + but that means effectively its DCS Flanker. :D As with you guys...I started simming with Flanker 2.5 almost 10 years ago now. I remember how proud I was flying and landing with a keyboard. Still...got hammered A2A though...still am pretty shitty at dodging missiles and stuff.

.......it was 60$ when it got released. I bought it at release. Not 40$ but 60$ is fair when console games cost the same.

The A-10a has already got a new model. And its not just the C model copied over, its accurate. The Mig 29 inspite of requiring an upgrade to current EDM standards, is still relatively in a decent state and probably will get an upgrade in the future. The Su33 on the other hand is the last on the list of flyables to get a model upgrade. All the original LOMAC aircraft will then have current-next gen model upgrades.

I would assume they will be a part of the final FC3 release. Now...lets hope they also update the Su33 while they are at it and shut us complainers up. :p *shields for incoming hate* :p

Landing in style. ;) Absolutely love the AFM of the frog and damn...this thing freaking flies. After using the warthog for so long...holy crap...the frog is a truly nimble compared to the flying bricks that are both the Su25T and the warthog.

Lets hope that doesn't happen as ED is on a roll wth DCS World. They surely have the beginnings of an ecosystem here that has great potential and with a good PC, damn...its insanely fun. Never had issues with DRM...switched/upgraded PCs quite a few times. I seem to be loosing my DCS Warthog activations for some reason and not getting them back, but I am sure ED can confirm my proof of purchase and provide activations if necessary.

If you see the AI choppers have better landing physics and ground handling than the flyable FC3 aircraft. I think it was part of improvements in Black shark series. Its high time the flyable jets / non-flyable jets get some attention.

Is it visible as an axis in DCS world? Then you basically have to go into DCS axis commands and look for TDS Slew horizontal, vertical and then in there...assign it. Sorry..I don't have the cougar, but have the warthog. I mapped my microstick for FC3 planes in a similar way.

I have had no problem installing lock on on windows 8. Infact I just did it 2 min ago as I got a new PC with ivy bridge CPU and Nvidia GTX670M. DCS world runs great maxed out and looks freaking amazing. This game is insanely heavy on a single CPU core and as long as that is high as atleast 3Ghz...DCS will do great and so far its nice and stable in Windows 8.

Bump....any chance that we can get back these new water effects as an ultra option? DCS 1.2.2 says improved water effects, but that has been effectively removed in the newer patches.
