  1. I don't have the Steam version of DCS - how do you add DCS-specific settings in SteamVR? It's not in the list along with the other games.
  2. Aren't the MFG Crosswinds modeled after BF 109 and/or FW 190 pedals? The images I see of those in the real cockpits seem like they accommodate the entire foot.
  3. Even if it were possible from a software licensing perspective, and if it's possible to configure in windows (neither of which I think are possible but someone else may correct me) - you would have a very hard time getting good performance out of two separate headsets from one PC. Look at these forums and you will see many many comments about difficulty in getting good frame rates in DCS in VR. I've got a 3080 and Ryzen 3600xt and I wouldn't dream of trying to run two headsets even if it were possible. It's hard enough with just one
  4. Can't wait! Curious though, did the Corsair see much action in the Channel area?
  5. If I recall from last time, it prompted for a license (or similar prompt) after the period ended.
  6. That would defeat the purpose, wouldn't it? Many of us don't fly online.
  7. Will the Horrido campaign appear on the store? Will buy as soon as it is.
  8. Man, I'm glad it's not just me as well. I'm brushing up on my Anton familiarity in anticipation of the upcoming campaign. So I jump into some instant action scenarios against AI, and holy crap. They get my wingman in about 10 or 15 seconds, then are unshakable on my tail shortly thereafter. The only ones I seem to have a chance against are the Thunderbolts, and that is really only if I happen to get a few hits in one of them at the beginning when in the head to head merge.
  9. I'm also jumping back into the Anton in anticipation for this. Do you expect release soon?
  10. For what it's worth, I just today got an email from Connection that said mine is backordered. I ordered mine in June. Not sure what that means re: the supply.
  11. That is weird. Why wouldn't they just use two 6 pin connectors? Most higher-end PSUs I've used recently have two 6+2 connectors.
  12. Smoothing is exactly the TrackIR setting you want to apply if you are having trouble looking steadily at instruments or switches when you are zoomed in.
  13. I have that utility to do exactly that. I use much less graphical fidelity when I launch with VR. Using the utility, I don't have to change them in the settings in DCS. I just select whichever profile I want to use. The only thing is that it's not desktop icons. But just launch the utility and select a saved profile in a drowdown list, then launch.
  14. Use Skatezilla's utility. I use it to launch DCS using two sets of graphical options for when I want to use monitor vs VR.
  15. To be fair, even ED refers to DCS as a game.
  16. Yes, that is great to hear!
  17. Any upcoming single player content to convince me to make the purchase?
  18. Where did that bird get his info?
  19. Yes, this is a big deal if true, but rule number one of computing. Back up your stuff, for love of God, if those files have meaning for you. There is no excuse for not backing up your important data.
  20. Oh, yes - how could I forget? The free one that comes with DCS. And if I remember, it comes with a few good training missions too. The P-51 is relatively tame compared with the Spits and Messerschmitts of the world.
  21. Props, and ESPECIALLY tail-draggers, are an entirely different beast due to the torque. The Yak seems to be the resident DCS prop trainer, though I can't speak to the training included in that one as I don't own it. I do have most of the WW2 modules though and I've found the Spit to be very difficult to handle on the ground. That seems to be an accurate representation of the real thing though.
  22. If you want to learn the actual procedures like a real pilot would, the Albatros has a training campaign that you can buy for it. It's called Kursant, in the store.
  23. AMD really responds to faster ram. And I don't think it's much more expensive these days.
