Also having trouble here. One helicopter vs four gun boats - they always shoot me down. If I get my co-pilot to do the shooting, he hits the cargo boat most of the time instead of the gun boats. And as soon as I get pointed at the gun boats, they blast me out of the sky in short order. Any tips?

Are you pulling the stick back to lock the tail wheel?

What button/axis do you have wheel brakes bound to? You may have to invert them if they're bound to an axis. It seems to me that the brakes are activated when you land.

With V-Sync, it's going to use increments of 30 fps (assuming your monitor is 60 or 120 hz). If it can't maintain exactly 60 fps, it will drop to 30. See if disabling v-sync gets you in the 50's, and that will explain it. That's why I love G-sync.

Does anyone know what that bracket system is in the first post of this thread, attached to the bottom of the chair?

Hello. I just bought the Argo campaign though I haven't started it yet. Are there any single missions where I can quickly practice landing on ships? I didn't see any through quick look in the downloads section. Also, I'm eagerly awaiting the TM Warthog throttle in the mail - do you guys reverse the axis on the throttle? If so, does that screw with you when switching to fixed wing craft?

That's not true though. Another sim is doing a "stuck at home" promotion. I don't think there has been a backlash from that.

Agreed. A competitor just announced a sale right now due to the recent events. I'd rather buy a DCS module at this time though.

I currently use the CH stick - what differences do you notice with your Virpil+WH compared to the CH stick?

Did you apply the frame rate limiter in nVidia Control Panel specifically to the DCS executable, or did you just try it globally? I added it to the DCS exe and it works fine for me (though that's for my g-sync monitor, not VR, but I don't think it should matter)

With those old gyro sights, I think they are best for relatively stationary targets so that you can calculate lead on planes such as bombers. I don't think they are good for dogfights where they are moving all over the place due to high-G situations. Maybe someone who has been successful doing that can chime in.

I'm having trouble dropping sling loads without damaging them. When doing so, should I be using the same cargo hook button I used to pick up the load, or should I use the auto-unhook button? I'm unclear on the purpose of that function.

Weird. Either way, it works now. I unchecked, then checked again, the option in the Special settings for the Huey. Maybe a bug, or maybe user error. I'm having fun learning this thing, either way. Thanks for the sale, ED. I would not have considered these weird creatures otherwise.

Yeah, strange. I use the new Nvidia Control Panel frame rate limiter on the DCS executable and I can see the value I set working in DCS.

No luck, even after mapping to a joystick button :( I can change the mode (from orbit, level flight, etc) but when I try to enable, it stills says Off in the kneeboard and nothing happens.

The keybindings state that Win-A enables the autopilot, but when I select that, the kneeboard still says Off. Am I missing something? I'm in stable, and single-player.
