  1. Maybe it's a plot by ED? Same thing with Georgia in 2008. So... who's going to attack Las Vegas in a few years?
  2. The editor says this cover was ordered last year and went to print before the climax in the "K-town" thus being a mere coincidence to the current situation.

  4. There will be good fog and "improved model of low visibility". The height of the ceiling(?) is not bad at the moment.
  5. Right side panel, the switch that's being pointed at by a terrible red arrow.
  6. EDIT: Sniped... It's carrying the Genesis Pathfinder-1 satellite.

  8. Do I really see a Ka-32 realistically hovering in correct position ready to rescue the pilot should something go wrong? Saw the procedure in a about the Vikramaditya. I guess it's up to the mission designer but would be cool if one would automagically deploy when you are inbound.
  9. And it's interceptor. http://russianplanes.net/id131717 Red Bull Air Race is back!
  10. Haha! Would love to see her face when she found it!

  12. When was the last time any new official information was posted here?
  13. Shkval is only meant to work in daylight conditions. You can create enough light for it to lock on by using illumination rockets.
  14. Well sure could be, I don't know the nuances of the Su-25 weapon systems. However I still find it unrealistic despite being possible. It would be interesting to know how the gun pods with depression are operated for example.
  15. That's what the Su-25 pilots say. Can't hang two types of rockets for example or you will have the same ballistic setting for both of them (thus you must use CETKA if you want to use them) and there will be a conflicting firing order. You can't cycle weapons like you can in Flaming Cliffs. There is only one switch which lets you choose either bombs or rockets to fire from that trigger. There are pictures (from airshows?) with Su-25's sitting on the ground with similar loadouts to the plastic model but they are what Russians call "pokazuha" - for showing off.
  16. Yes that kripzoo. Sorry for unclear explanation.
  17. Nice to hear. The project is already late like two years or something (lost count) so I don't care of any delays. The 30$ I paid is still a steal for the final product. Hopefully the extra DVD is the one originally planned by Beczl with exclusive material. Thanks for all the devs, past and present.
  18. The ballistics computer in the aircraft is old and limited. If I understand correctly, it only supports ballistic calculations for two type of weaponry (not including cannon and AAM). IIRC it's possible to hang some "extra" ordnance but you could only use it in CETKA mode. Different rocket types have different launch orders, for example some are fired inner pylons to outer pylons and some other rocket types might be conflicting with that order. The control stick basically has a switch that lets you use the A2G trigger either for bombs or rockets. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=878298&postcount=2540
  19. CH Fighterstick and Pro Throttle and KomodoSims ProAT pedals. I think this setup is really great. The CH Fighterstick is light and very accurate which is perfect for helicopters, plus CH is really top quality in flight controls. I used to have Saitek Rudder Pedals but fortunately I broke them when trying take the center detent off. I got the KomodoSim ProAT pedals and the world wasn't the same anymore! They are rugged, super accurate and feel like real helicopter pedals. They cost as much as my CH HOTAS but they are worth every penny. My flying improved ten fold compared to the crappy plastic Saitek.
  20. Ground resonance? Happens to coaxials as well.
  21. Unrealistic loadout but it's very pretty! Seems to be from our Su-25 pilot Mikhail Pavlov's squadron too.
  22. I thought it's pretty well documented. Anything I needed for basic navigation can be found in the manual. The thing is pretty simple in the end. Plus, Youtube still seems to have good tutorial videos.
