  1. Valid request by OP. Who are you to impose your masochistic taste for realism on others?
  2. This bug should be easy to fix and is a critical regression. I have a feeling this sub-forum doesn't get a lot of attention. I don't see any status tags like [NO BUG|NO TRACK|REPORTED|FIXED] appended to the thread titles. :(
  3. +1 The controllers stop being captured by the config screen. The sim itself remains functional. The bug appeared after the Open Beta update that introduced the MiG-19. I had the MiG-19 installed when I experienced this bug. The issue affects all configs for all aircraft. Not a "partial fix" but a workaround.
  4. Visit https://www.whatismyip.com/ and use the value labelled "Your Public IPv4 is:" This IP might change from time to time, if you disconnect from your ISP for a somewhat long period.
  5. Bump. +1 This wonderful module really needs to support the Warthog's ON-OFF-ON flap switch. It should be a quality criteria for all modules, especially for vital systems such as flaps and landing gear (using, for example, the Warthog's A-10C autopilot switch.
  6. A GTX 1070 coupled with a 7700K @ 5.2GHz will yield 105 FPS approx for 1080P resolution.
  7. +1 Happened to me for the first time this evening. Latest Open Beta patch.
  8. The third hotfix (Sept 5th?) fixes issues with the Rift ASW. Thanks ED!
  9. I experience the same thing. Oculus Home resets/restarts when hitting Scroll Lock. RCTRL-Scroll Lock displays FPS as does RCTRL-Pause.
  10. You're absolutely right: Cueing (or Cuing) System. But I wasn't referring to that. ;)
  11. I vote for cue or cued to be spelled properly: queue or queued :)
  12. I just updated nVidia drivers to 399.07 (08/27) and same result. I noticed that FPS in menu screen is not capped at 90 like before: now it reaches 120-130 FPS.
  13. Clicking on the F10 map is offset to the right about 10% of the screen width and low about 5% of the screen height. This affects unit selection and measuring tape, at least.
  14. Stop hacking your lua! Alt-F9, repeatedly to switch ships. You must have the Tarawa in your mission, of course.
  15. I've notice this ballooning after cat shot. With the previous flight model, I cut to idle and put full flaps down in order not to go higher than 600'R when going back to downwind for some pattern work. After the patch, I really need to push the nose down so I don't zoom up to 1000'.
  16. It seems my Logitech G940 rudder pedals sometimes return 0.5 on all axies until the axis is actually actuated. Maybe driver-related. If you start in the air, maybe the brakes remain at 0.5 since you might no depress toe brakes at all until after trapping.
  17. I fully deflected all controls, even trhottle and prop pitch, without success. That didn't seem to work for me. Then I tried SPACEBAR. Then, I hit CTRL-Z (time acceleration) for a while to get past any timeout; didn't work. Using the Rift, I also made sure to look at all controls while moving; no success. Ultimately, I hit F2 to look at said moving controls. I don't know if it's coincidence, but it got me past this step.

    Manual

Then just convert your installation to Open Beta. Search on the forum for dcs_updater.exe
  19. For the Warthog flap and LASTE switch (which I use for gear) to operate fully, It'd be nice to have commands that map to "Half/Retract" / "Full/Half" and "Gear Up/Neutral" / "Gear Down/Neutral"
  20. "I got 1"? Most of the DCS community member 's got one... Pick better titles for your posts, please...
  21. Also, the external view animation of the head does not correspond to the internal cockpit view vector. For example, looking at the canopy frame (say 30 degrees left) and switching to F2 will show the pilot's head turned a lot more to the left. In pitch (elevation) it's the opposite: the animation shows a lesser angle than the view vector.
  22. I actually like the ways it is right now. So instead of changing the behavior, I'd rather see it as as option.
  23. Stop using the word inertia, as it seems to me you don't quite understand it. Hopefully that's not your intent but your comments are borderline insulting the the great scientific minds who work on DCS. It is complex but not too complex. ;)
