  1. What size thread is on the warthog?
  2. Want the throttle.
  3. Are you using your own waypoints and putting the altitude of the waypoint as low as possible?
  4. Sorry to hijack this, can a JTAC give you Lat/Long without the mod?
  5. Just to let you know @boondoggle I just put a RTX 2060 in mine and at 1080 with the 2700k overclocked to 4.3ghz it wont drop below 80 fps settings high. That is an easy >50fps increase on a pretty old chip and old memory. RTX 2060 was about $500 AUD.
  6. Possible to have a 3D printing forum in the cockpit builders / input output section? It's probably used by modders as much as cockpit builders so not sure if its input/output or just general chit chat.

    U.F.O.

Why do you think the DoD allowed Navy ATFLIR and cockpit voice recordings to be released and not the Nimitz Tic Tac's? Has it been confirmed it is actual footage or do you think its an experiment of human reaction, are the pilots allowed to talk about it?
  8. Thanks Hansangb, makes sense, 6th core is 80-100%
  9. I know I am still rocking an old rig, but at the moment its doing me fine for what I play in DCS, I am rarely down low and dirty. So I put on Task Manager and GPU-Z and it shows the following: (its usually about 35 - 40 FPS - I was just in a town when I took this) Settings. So by reading this I probably still have 50% overhead in my CPU at 3.6ghz and I could tune it up as its stock at moment. The R9 200 bless it is 100% throughout every flight. Memory is up to 80% but its only 16gb of some 1600mhz so to be expected. I do have on the horizon a new rig, just purchased a new 1TB SSD and I am thinking of the GFX card next and then the MOBO, CPU and Memory in a couple of months time but how quick will that 50% overhead get used up with a new GFX card?
  10. Leaves game running for 5 days straight, comes home it’s turned off. You are lucky that’s all that happened, you do that in my house without paying any bills you computer would have been sold to pay for the Electricity used.
  11. They are going to have to bring back the Cougar now aren’t they?!
  12. I misread it. Got to meet Mat, I was really surprised how good this guy felt in the hands..... WOAH!!!!! Oh you mean the Hornet stick....
  13. Download a GPU monitor, I run a 2600k and there is still plenty of room in DCS but my GPU is 100%. I too am upgrading, I do have a 250gb SSD but just bought a 1TB SSD for the new rig and as my 250 is now full. I can now cross 1TB SSD off my new build and decide what to buy next, will be a GPU. I wouldn’t update RAM on that old board, just buy things that can go in your new rig.
  14. I put zoom on my countermeasures thumb switch on the warthog. Use the pinky lever thing as a multiplier and the single button on the left hand throttle as view reset, works quite well imo, but now I am going to try your method above!

    42GB Update

Just bought a 1TB as I have been putting off the Gulf due to lack of space.
  16. Looks legit, must be nearly ready, that is exactly what I expected it to be. Do they sell the stick and gimbal separate from the throttle now? Is would be pretty grim if someone had to buy a full Warthog hotas just to get the gimbal for the F-18 stick. However, I wouldnt put it past TM.
  17. Oh thanks, I will try the command center and ammo dept
  18. I was wondering, are there any hardened targets in DCS that require either certain size bombs or delay fuse 1 and 2? I put an aircraft in a hangar and the mk82 on instant just went through it. You can blow bridges up with rockets. Any ideas?
  19. Will this be more powerful than the current cluster bombs? Who refused to use them?
  20. Im with the Harlequin, we have lots of planes already but the whole environment needs to liven up first. Precision strike, buildings in command chains, depleting morale, depleting logistics, attrition, dynamics, political will, surveillance, smarter AI.... Runway denial too.
  21. Got mine last week, only took a week to get to Aus once Damien had dispatched it. Easy to install with good instructions, fits nice and works like a charm. 100% satisfied customer and a highly recommended upgrade. If anyone is concerned, it does not involve any permanent modification to the Warthog, you can convert it back if you are insane! It takes 4 screws to get to and is a very simple installation using 2 screws provided. Dont hesitate on this mod!
  22. Very nice, who flys in the passenger seat?
  23. +1 Throttle only no panel! Good to see a different manufacturer coming on line, lets hope you make a quality product and get plenty of sales and happy customers!
  24. I want to see some eye candy of the TGP on the MFD in test....come on Wags!
  25. I wonder if that was the stuff I was looking at for the sides of my pit, will take a copy of that number thanks!
