  1. Im hearing you, I feel it crunch as adjust my grip slightly to add a bit of trim after a bomb drop and the microswitch pops up and the laser turns off, cringing thinking about the crap chinese microswitch about to snap in half. :joystick:
  2. If your weapon isnt releasing, for MAVS you have to shoot the laser and then perhaps manouver the aircraft a bit until you a solid square in the mav seeker where there is usually an X - try and point your aircraft at the target and you will see a little X which is the target, get it in the seeker cross fire, lase and wait until the x turns to a square, then ripple. As for the Bombs and the Mavs make sure you select OSB 11 (TRIG)
  3. I love the TGP thanks ED for putting it out, its fine in current state and can only get better. It would be good to have a latch, I dont rate the switches in the Warthog and right now even the most sensitive of movements on the trigger the laser drops out and I have to re-squeeze, I think for the life of my Warthog it would be good to have a laser latch and opportunity to bind it elsewhere! Would be good to be able to code it to my warthog slew mod depress.
  4. Ive had my LGB's performing aircraft like maneuvers!! Laser on, release, hold trigger, see the laser cue change, wait, no impact, F6 and the bomb is gaining altitude a traveling back out to sea! TheamazingGBU.trk
  5. Do you think that Combined Arms was an attempt to create a "Dynamic Campaign" but without AI providing the Dynamics? Perhaps the AI improvement put in CA would be the model ED use and therefore they just maintain that Module?
  6. Do did well to braze aluminium, I just melted the aluminium! Luckily I sealed the blow torch back in its box and took it back as unused....
  7. Thanks, I was trying to start it and it wouldnt so I thought there was no fuel, probably trying to idle the left throttle with the right engine! Thanks, works as advertised!
  8. I tried the Mission in the Missions Folder (Official) and no Fuel was in the aircraft. Asked ground crew to refuel, nothing. Tried in Caucuses too, no fuel, only from starting on ramp. Did a user mission and same happened. This is quite possibly user error but I did search. Track added. Nofuel.trk
  9. Looks good, just a heads up, depending on how real you are going for, I couldn’t get 8 position rotaries they were all 12 position which means they don’t register at 45 degrees like the replica panels. Maybe irrelevant.
  10. You only wanted to brag about the cricket! As a Pommie in Aus I went down well at work today (I had to sleep off a big night yesterday). Apparently the rules should be changed, the countback on 4's is unfair and should have been wickets and anything else to undermine it. Oh well, all's fair, I did book 100 sheets of sandpaper out of stores when they played South Africa!
  11. Hey guys just wanted to say a big thank you to Hansolo and AndrewW who helped me out a lot. I realised a couple of things, magnetically held switches act a little different so if like me you were having trouble with the 3 position L/R Engine crank, try the flaps switch first! Also, I changed the processor type in the Arduino IDE to 328P (Old Bootloader) for my Nano. Finally and what I never forget is what a great community this is, thank you. Now I have spent the weekend trying to curve the fuselage without sucess so Im off to Bunnings (Home Depot/B&Q Australian Equivalent) to source some flexible panels. I tried using Masonite 1200 x 900mm 3.2mm and even cut grooves on it to try and flex but it was too much curve, if you are starting out and reading this, dont just draw curves you think will look OK, follow someone else's sucess! Im thinking using strips of Masonite to create a stepped curve then fiberglass it and sand it smooth.
  12. That seat looks to me like its custom made, why dont you buy some decent foam and just make your own? Car seats are on springs and weigh a lot and are not very customisable due to the fact they are a primary safety device in a vehicle. If you ever take apart a office chair its only sponge/foam on plywood, you could use a mixture of both, cut and glue it to shape and then hide it all under a nice cover?
  13. Agree Miles a very simple solution, just a consideration though, if you pull it too hard it might not register.

  15. also well worth trying this to make sure that dcs-bios is talking to DCS correctly, before trying to get the arduino setup working. I must be a fcukwit, it didnt work and I cannot seem to get ^ working?! I dont have Chrome (Mozilla) and I am slow, it appears!! When you say labels, is there a picture like that Nano above with pin descriptions for DCS Bios?
  16. Thanks mate, will give it a go tomorrow, just to top it off, the update wiped my key bindings for the Hotas, dry july lasted until about 16.20 after that!!
  17. I must have the wrong pin out? Man I picked the wrong month to stop drinking...
  18. Hey hans I thought I had: is D10 not pin 13??
  19. Hi, Im trying to run a test on the APU panel for the F/A-18, can anyone see anything wrong with this: The red wire is to the LED, Black is Ground for all the switches, blue is the APU start and L/R Crank. I get the 'matrix' running (connect serial port) and have DCS running, My install is on another drive to this USER (dont know if thats an issue) Any ideas welcome please!
  20. Hey mate, I saw yours and wondered what you did behind the panel! Would you mind posting a few more close ups of behind the panel please?
  21. I just noticed I have 40% warning on my account due to a breach of 1.10 and the severity increased on 12 June 2019 - Expires: Never. I didnt post anything to do with 1.10 and I thought the rep system was disabled? Any mods comment please, the link to the post is gone. Thanks
  22. Why do you put them in as a waypoint out of interest as opposed to directly in the weapon? Curios as I have been punching them in the weapon and missing only by a few feet and cannot work it out.
