  1. While trying to alleviate stutters the other day I was playing around with Max Frame rate settings, both in game and in NVCP. No luck eliminating the stutters, but I did notice that setting the max framerate to 300 in game and Unlimited in NVCP seemed to dramatically increase load times (both initial game load and into mission). So, may be worth trying lowering max Frame rate to just above your headset/monitor refresh rate if you haven't already.
  2. Are you using Quadviews, or OpenXR Toolkit with Turbo Mode enabled? Seem to recall this being a cause of crashes when headset is removed.
  3. No, checked FPS limit is off in NVCP, OXRTK and DCS settings. Tried capping in and uncapping in all three, but makes no difference. Am using Turbo mode though - this is the only way I can get smooth frame times on Link, but it seems less effective on VD (but still better than with TM off). Looking at the performance overlay in VD there is some slight fluctuation in network latency, so am wondering if that's the cause.
  4. Will give that a go, thanks. On a 4090, so not sure VRAM is the issue, but worth a try.
  5. Is anyone actually able to maintain a constant 72fps with VD? Even on the main menu (hangar) screen I get a slight fluctuation from 71-72 FPS in VD, while in Link I get a flat line 72 FPS. I'd prefer to use VD over Link due to the slightly crisper visuals, but the increased stutter due to not beng able to hold a solid 72fps puts me off. Originally thought this might be down to poor WiFi connection, but get the same result connected via ethernet per nikoel's method. Even on potato settings the fluctuation is there.
  6. Yup, here it is. Following those steps didn't work for me, so I'm glad you didn't see it and took the time to put together a more idiot-proof guide!
  7. Many thanks for the guide, and highlighting the above step - I'd tried this before based on guides on hoggit without success, but finally got it working as you described. Cheers!
  8. OXR Tookit might be worth a go - it's Turbo Mode setting instantly eliminated a lot of stutters for me (including with ASW on). Worth noting it is no longer developer supported - works now, but may break in the future.
  9. If your stutters are now limited to when flying over cities, Quad Views might be part of the problem. As I understand it, the need to render all the buildings four times (for each eye at both hi and lo res) with associated shadows adds significant CPU load. Turning off shadows might help, and/or possibly dropping down scenery details factor and LOD switch factor sliders
  10. I've found VD to be very stuttery with lots of random frame rate drops since the last patch (running on a Quest Pro). Have you tried Quest Link to see if that's any better?
  11. @Rudel_chw Many thanks for building and sharing these excellent missions! I've flown three so far and found them to be well thought out, informative and enjoyable - much better than the stock training missions IMO. Couple of minor bugs I've encountered: - on the abbreviated cold start, general carnage ensues around you as the Chinooks and B-1 burst into flames on touchdown (actually kinda hilarious when juxtaposed with the calm delivery of the training voiceover ) - guessing a newly introduced DCS AI bug - when interacting with ATC, it seems the next voiceover is only triggered when using the FR22 PTT bind, but not the FR22 PTT/VOIP bind - took me a while to figure out there were two binds for operating thr same radio!
  12. Many thanks TOViper - that link worked and I've managed to join the HB discord and locate the viggen.training channel. Thanks also for the explanation regarding the time limit. The rationale makes sense - I'll give it a go and let you know if I have any feedback. All the best with this endeavour!
  13. This looks awesome - recently bought the Viggen and have been looking for something more in depth than the stock training missions. Just curious, why is there a 60 minute time limit for completing the training missions after you download them? Also, I'm having issues with the Discord link on the Viggen.Training homepage: - https://discord.com/channels/1071433028045377637/1166748421005262929 When I press it, it just takes me to random channels on servers I'm already a member of. Looks to be a link to a specific channel rather than an actual Discord invite?
