Yes this problem actually had been reported several times, not sure why it has not been fixed (low priority?). Not a problem with hornet on supercarrier. I could land and refuel with center tank normally full (tested in MP).

Well after you manage to have it on HAS table and launch it then prepare to get dissapointed because just like Tor (SA-15) the Roland can shoot down your HARM (AI on excellent). I usually let it shoot me first then lob HARM after that.

I have not tested it but if you're right I don't mind it as long as it track alright and can destroy its target. AIM-120 missile. The probability of countermeasure spoofing returned to the old value. I'm little bit dissapointed by this after few testing both SP and MP because the Amraam is now more susceptible to chaffs , no idea why ED did it. Have not found a thread discussing why this was necessary.

If I remember correctly Thrustmaster recommend to directly connect each to its own usb plug without a hub especially when doing firmware update. But I've been using it with powered usb hub (Anker) without problem. Theres also an argument for using usb powered hub for better power supply since the throttle prone to brick because of usb fluctuation of power. I honestly not sure with all of these as I'm not an electronic expert and I let someone with more knowledge on that to explain. Its your call. Edit: Using powered USB hub is better than unpowered one IMO.

I'm flying using an XBox joystick, There you go..... you already knew the answer at least part of it. Help yourself by getting a joystick even the cheapes one (maybe like Logitech 3D extreme etc) could help and make huge different IMO.

1400$ ? Where did you see that? I bought my MSFFB2 for only around 30 USD at my local online shop few years ago. Its used but still good. And +1 for FFB joystick to fly helos in DCS. I have Hotas Warthog but always switch to MSFFB2 for flying helos.

Yeah I think its safe to say goodbye to all FC3 aircrafts. I dont see ED going to add new feature only support for bug fixes or similar. Look what happened to Su-27 DL between wingman (flight members) in MP it has been asked for years and they didnt bother at all.
