What can you tell us about your squadron? Do you plan to fly with icons on or off? Are you planning to fly only the Ka-50 or are other aircraft included? Is this mainly for casual flying or will there be missions where communications discipline will be utilized? Will real world helicopter tactics be used? What kind of virtual pilots are you trying to recruit? Casual or hard-core?

Don't know if this has already been mentioned but when using NVGs, it would be cool when you look over at the copilot and crew to see them actually wearing NVGs as well.

Noticed it myself last week. I find myself surprisingly worried about it even though I know it does nothing. I'm so used to flipping it during start-up I find it distracting during flight when I look at it and it is still facing downward. Someone please help me. :helpsmilie: :pilotfly: I want my switch back ED! :joystick: ;)

Tried out the new FM myself last night. Was able to hover better and land much better. Thank you for this great module and its only in beta yet...amazing. :thumbup:

Yes, this happened to me at first as well. Make sure you have the "corrector" or throttle on the collective all the way to the left...throttled down when you start the heli.

I'm joining the crowd here. Always loved flying the Su-25T and Su-25. Would kill for A-10C level Su-25s. Perhaps some day.

The wingman AI need a lot of work to put them back to that place where they actually were an asset. I've been noticing a lot of trouble with them as well. Also, I've noticed the ATC is just broken. Hopefully things will improve sooner rather than later.

Finally got it working.

yeah, I did open it. The files are: RUS/ Common Ka-50 I put it in the following: DCS World/Sounds/speech/Sound Within the last Sound folder I have ENG and RUS. I still get english voices when flying Ka-50. In the options menu of the sim, I do have "Russian" voices picked. I must be doing something wrong. :cry:

Okay...first thank you for the response. Second, I tried it and no go. When flying the Ka-50 voices are still in english. Could you please simplify it for me and explain what is the root directory? Exactly what folder should I copy this stuff into?

bump for reference. Okay, this doesn't work for DCS World correct? The folders reference is a bit confusing. How does one get russian voices for the Black Shark in DCS World?

+1 Been waiting for Shark fixes for some time now. I understand the complexity of the DCS products and I understand and support what ED is doing but it sure would be nice to get some love for the Ka-50...nothing new mind you just fixes.
