  1. Interesting Weta43....and thank you for the heads up.
  2. Well I'll give it a shot. As far as I know since it has been this way from the beginning of this series going back to LOCKON...you cannot have AI wingmen in multiplayer. It tells you this in the GUI manual that came with the game.
  3. Wow! That sounds pretty cool.
  4. Thank you. I just began testing a night mission I'm working on and noticed this problem as well.
  5. It is amazing isn't it.:pilotfly:
  6. Right.:music_whistling: Again, you are in the wrong hobby sir.
  7. You've lost your perspective then.
  8. This might help you Stratos. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=790984&postcount=4 It is what I used to understand them.
  9. You have to be rich to afford $20? :megalol: Let's see...for $20 I can take my wife to the movies. If I chip in another $15 or so I can get drinks, some popcorn, maybe some M&Ms. That is a one time event for the value. With BS2, I get endless hours of fun plus the ability to go online and fly with people all over the world. On top of that I get to use my creativity with the mission editor which gives me yet more hours of fun. All for just $20. Time for you to get another hobby. Perhaps checkers might agree with you. That is pretty cheap.
  10. And let's not forget that wonderful tool by the online squadron "Virtual Warhawks," The Black Shark Pit Trainer. If one wants to learn the cockpit inside and out, there is really no better training tool than this little gem.:joystick:
  11. May I ask you if you've actually read the manual? The answer is there.
  12. Oh I wouldn't say that. I don't think I've ever really made a mission where I had the infantry moving. I always place them carefully behind cover, or at the edge of woods, looks more real, looks like infantry actually using the terrain properly. They still fight well and the fireworks looks amazing from the cockpit. There are many neat little tricks one can do in the editor to simulate infantry moving from one place to another and still find proper cover.
  13. Really? I wasn't aware of the RPG guys not being mobile. Never tested them but I'll have to take a look at that one. The new Russian infantry figures are mobile with nice animations. I like the style of the combat dress as well.
  14. @GhostDog Well I took a look at your track GhostDog and the infantry were moving with the exception of the RPG trooper. It looked pretty normal to me. Do you by chance have the test mission file I could take a look at in the editor?
  15. If I were to guess at the flying legends aircraft or series...I would pick what others in this thread have mentioned. F-86 Sabre Mig-17 Mig-19 Mig-21 F-104 F-4 Phantom I personally would be surprised if ED did WW2 era aircraft...I wouldn't mind flying them but I would guess they would do something someone hasn't done in a long time.
  16. You actually get more in BS2 now...I think it is due to the nice lighting characteristics of the cities. You can actually see things now with NVG and Schwal. Haven't tried any targeting though out in the country where it is much more dark.:joystick:
  17. Question: when you are placing these infantry and setting those waypoints, are you setting them near enemy units? Within view of enemy units?
  18. Same here. Just beautiful work ED!
  19. You set the auto weapon control switch to manual and thus you can launch a Vikr beyond normal launch parameters. It is two buttons down from the master arm switch on the weapons control panel.
  20. I think I found my answer in another thread asking same question. It said that there are no dedicated servers yet for BS2 so I'm guessing that is why I'm not seeing anything.
  21. Are there any BS2 servers up? I've just started looking into multiplayer now with BS2, got online and don't see anything in my browser...it is completely blank. It may be something on my end of course but I just want to check if any servers are up so I can test my connection.
  22. Yes you can...depending on the target. If you for example shot at something hiding in a city...there is enough illumination from city lights to allow you to see target through the schval. You cannot lock a target but all you need to do is just keep schval target box over the target and the Vikr will ride the laser beam to the target. Night fighting means manual tracking with schval.
  23. There is a trick in the Hot Tips section about using multiplay running alongside single play. I've never used it though. You just have to place an object as best you can...go into mission to see where it is and then go back to editor and move it. A bit time consuming but it can get done. Another way I do it is while in the mission itself...I note the long and latitude and then place my unit in the editor that way. It is still trial and error I'm afraid.
  24. I've tested the infantry moving as well and all my infantry work as advertised. MANPAD has never moved. That is not a bug.
  25. Which infantry?
