Yep, one of my favorite modules to fly in DCS. I've spent a lot of time in this beauty. The attention to detail is superb! That mission you made does look interesting.

Just discovered this while doing a test mission with the Harrier in single player on stable release version of DCS.

It boggles the mind that DCS World does not already have a Korea Map. You've got two of the best modules for DCS World already in the stable, F-86F Sabre and the Mig-15bis and no place for them to fly in.

Amen. I really wish ED would fix this. It has become almost impossible to play single player with any kind of AI wing-men attached to the flight.

Tonight in a mission I was testing, I had just reached "Bingo" fuel myself and about 5 seconds later my AI wing-man called out Bingo fuel. I was just about to give him a radio command to "go to the tanker" which was about 25 miles away when he calls out "ejecting!" Please ED, fix this.

Yes, you are correct. Now I remember that was the issue with the Mirage-2000C. I also remember the quick fix was to turn the altimeter off or something for a few minutes start it back up later IIRC but not sure. See answer above. I was thinking about the radar altimeter bug in the M-2000C.

Agree. I think one of strongest positives of DCS World is the diversity in air-frames and the technology/avionics simulated in them. I thoroughly enjoy the western aircraft but DCS really does need some full fidelity eastern aircraft to round out a thorough experience. Hopefully one day. A Mig-31 variant would be a dream machine. :thumbup:

Hey gentlemen, thank you for the responses. I've actually resolved the issue this morning. Here's what happened and how I resolved it. I put it here in case anyone else runs into this problem. First off I don't think it was a DCS World Bug. I think something coincidentally just happened with my HOTAS communicating with my PC. After trying different modules and seeing that everything worked flawless except those two axis' for the TDC button, I then went into IL-2 Great Battles to see if I could map those axis' to that game's controller settings. I couldn't even though I should have been able to. Okay, that told me it's not DCS World. It has to be something with my HOTAS equipment itself or something in the way Windows 10 is not seeing my one button and it's two axis'. So then I went to my "Devices" section in Windows 10 and looked at the controllers and opened them up to check that each button was working etc. Everything again was working perfectly except the X and Y axis of that TDC button. They should have been working but were not. Okay, that tells me maybe connections in the Warthog TDC itself are to blame. So I do the next best thing I can think of and that is unplug my Warthog Throttle and the Joystick to be safe and let them sit for about an hour. Plug both back in and check the Devices again in Windows 10 and low and behold, all axis, both Y and X for the TDC button now work and are showing so in the game controller interface. I then start DCS World and fly and hurrah!!!, TDC now slews like it should for all modules. I'm back in the business of flying my favorite flight sim. Not a DCS World Bug. Issue Resolved.

I just updated Stable Release tonight for DCS World. Everything works perfectly with the exception that I've noticed my TDC does not work in the Horizontal or Vertical Axis anymore. I'm talking about assigning axis commands to the little TDC button on the Thrustmaster Throttle. I have a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS. When looking in the Axis Commands menu, the keybinds are there for Horizontal and Vertical axis but when rolling the button, nothing. All other slewable buttons like the "slider" work, pitch and roll on joystick work, throttles work but not the little TDC in the horizontal or vertical axis. I first noticed this while trying out the Hornet tonight. Then tried other aircraft including Su-27 and F-16C. TDC slew in the horizontal and vertical axis does not work. It was working fine last night before I updated today. Is anyone else noticing this or having this particular problem?

If one does a very simple search for "stable" vs "open beta," one easily comes up with at least 2-3 lengthy threads dedicated to what people use and why; and the discussion on pros and cons. Those threads are also relatively recent. All it takes is some minimal effort and answers are given. His words were chosen carefully to stir the pot, yet again. The response was indeed called for.

Yep, very interesting reads. The other day there was also a new episode from the Fighter Pilot Podcast where they were interviewing an Indian pilot who flew the Mig-21. Very neat interview. You should listen if you got the time.

If you're making missions and wanting aircraft to fly against you while you're flying the Mig-19P, use F-5s with Aim-9 with rear aspect only. F-4E with Vietnam era missiles, again Aim-9 rear aspects only, Mirage-2000C is another good opponent. If you're flying against Mirage-2000C, let's say a four ship, bring more AI buddies like 8 wing-men etc. The higher the quality of the Western aircraft you fly against, the larger the quantity of AI wing-men you want to bring in order to make it an even fight. :thumbup:

Also, IIRC this was happening to the Mirage-2000C module as well.
