It's worth a try but the info on bottleneck seems legit. Anyway I would try the DDU before caving in and buying a new mainboard and CPU. Tha 3090 should of course be much more powerfull than the 3080. I'm interested because I'm looking to upgrade my setup as well. Good luck finding the right solution.
+1 For full fidelity F-15C. I would definetly buy this unit if ED made it. Any 3rd party I would think twice.
EDIT: I will buy the F-15E as well but that is not the fighter I like, the F-15C is the one!
Finally got the Trim working but switching seat is a no go at the moment as you can not take control back as pilot, or at least difficult. Hope they fix this in a upcoming beta as allways. Interesting chopper to fly
Yes same here. Maybe try out MSI Afterburner and see what that is reporting. I have been off for some time but I'm sure I had better FPS before than I'm getting now. There may be some settings that have changed.
You can install both the beta and the stable on the same computer. If you join a squad they may require you to have the stable version. Install both is the smart solution.
Whar GPU do you have? I'm on AMD and native 4K resolution, trying to run DCS in 2K windowed and fullscreening with "Alt+Enter", not working.
Workaround for me is to set display resolution down to 2K before starting DCS. Works as for now.
dx11backend =
{
flipMode = false,
}
This produces a complete white DCS window that is frozen after login, sim does not start (ver: 2.8.0.32235). Remove lines from autoexec.cfg and sim starts normally. Missing the "Alt+Enter" for fullscreen.
