to get NVGs you'll have to swap out the helmet mounted display via ground crew option -> change helmet mounted display you either have the HMCS or the NVGs, not both at the same time

Same happened to me

It seems to actually stop faster if you only apply like 80% brakes (if you have them on an axis). Full brakes feels like tokyo drift

The issue i have with mavs in pre-mode is, as soon as i hit CZ on the tgp, the seeker of the mav stops tracking the pod. Then i‘ll have to swap waypoints, switch mastermodes etc and eventually it starts tracking again. Until i hit CZ and it‘ll stop again

Played around with it just now, the only way to get NAV to show up for me was being in the wrong master mode.

Did you change mastermode to A-G ? Or did you power on the mavs, and went back to NAV mode and selected the WPN page withoug going to A-G first? Cuz yous SMS also shows NAV mode

i can't get it to switch more than 1 mode. if it's on PRE and i press the button, it goes to VIS and stays there, no matter what i try.

yes you can, but you need to modify the Tables first to scan the correct threats. OPs kneeboard, then head to the DED page for HARM (List -> 0 MISC -> 0 HARM) and select a table you wanna modify (after takeoff ideally). Replace a threat you are not gonna face (eg. the Strela on table 3) and overwrite its code with the code of the patriot. then head over to the HARM Wpn page and you should see a "P" on the respective table (eg. 3) instead of the strela

tested it again, this time successful. i might have messed something up before. about the gain: you can switch to manual gain and use the gain keys top left of the DDI which adjusts it too, not just the on screen "keys"
