  1. Thanks for reporting the issue. We will retest to see if we can reproduce it. In the mean-time have you tried a DCS Repair?
  2. What I suspect is happening is that you are not getting stable on the new heading, altitude and speed. There is a trigger just before the EFATO test dialogue that checks to make sure you are flying with wings level on a heading (close to 060) and altitude (close to 6000) and speed (close to 220 knots). When you are you will hear the FE say: "Good. Maintain 060, angels 6 at 220 knots." Once that trigger is set then when you are close to WP3 you should hear the instructions for shutting down the right engine.
  3. This post has instructions on how to bypass the practice missions by editing your logbook. Email us a mapleflagmissions@gmail.com if you need help.
  4. Did you exit at Alpha? Range check-in is at Alpha and range check-out can be Alpha or Charlie. When you get close to Alpha the FE should make the check-out call. If you exit anywhere else then you are exiting the range without authorization. Fly the flight plan as briefed and it should work ok. If not let us know and we will investigate the issue.
  5. Loved the female aggressor pilot interview! Thanks for sharing.
  6. Glad you got it to work. It's a game engine limitation currently but hopefully we can get something that works better in a future update. Will post again if we get something that works better.
  7. You have 5 mins from when the FE gives you the coordinates so the best method is to set your DTOT to current time + 5 mins and then try and fly as close to the waypoint as possible at the stated DTOT time. The timer trigger starts at 10 seconds after the FE instructions (to account for the time for the FE instructions). You can check your location on the F10 map as there is a ground unit placed at the waypoint location. You should be right over that unit by the DTOT time.
  8. You can fly each mission individually by opening it in the mission editor but I don't think the triggers are visible to remove his specific voice overs. Maybe in a future update we could provide an F10 instruction where you can toggle him on or off.
  9. Unfortunately we can't post an ETA as ED releases content on their schedule. I can say we have been developing an F-5E Aggressors Red Flag campaign and we will post an update to our blog when it's available.
  10. Check the value of the Results field at the end of the mission. If it's 50 the same mission will reply again. A score greater than 50 and the campaign should progress to the next mission. The campaign is currently setup so that the practice mission is done first and if you pass that then it proceeds to the qualification mission. A score of Qualified Minus will set a result of 75 and score of Qualified will set a result of 100 - both of which should progress to the next campaign mission. After you hear your pass or fail message you can press the single quote key ' to bring up the results page and see the value before you exit the mission. If you passed and the result is still showing 50 wait a few seconds to see if the game engine will update it. If you quit too quickly then the result could still be at 50.
  11. I recommend updating your video card drivers and re-flying the mission. That's helped others that have had trigger problems. Also try the practice mission and see if you have the same trigger problem (triggers are the same in both missions). It's an in-air start so a quicker way to test the triggers on your system. EDIT: Reviewed your track and you were within parameters for a successful drop however try holding the release button down for a few seconds longer (maybe a 3 second count) to get the "Well Done - Target in Sight" message. When you first press the release button that triggers the "Two Away" voice over but to determine where the flares are actually dropped we also need to know that you are still in the trigger zone over the target with the release button pressed. This takes the game engine another second or two to determine. We used to be able to use the bomb in zone trigger but flares were removed from that mechanism. The 3rd target is a moving convoy so you do have to search for it. Try looking north and west of the waypoint and you should spot it. It's activated when you overfly the 2nd target WP. We are making some updates for the 2.2 release so will see if we can make this mechanism less problematic.
  12. We used to sell it from our website but when ED started selling them from their ED store we had to stop selling from ours.
  13. Sorry but we couldn't reproduce that bug in AFT05.
  14. Sorry but we couldn't reproduce your issue. As per the briefing you need to drop when below 6000' AGL and within 1nm of the target. Try and drop when right over the target as the flares tend to drop straight down and we want maximum illumination over the target area. When releasing the flares you should press and hold the release button down for a few seconds to ensure the game engine registers the drop. You should hear the pilot say "2 Away" and if you are within the proper parameters you will hear "Well Done! Target in Sight!" Here are some screenshots (VR) but you can see what we mean.
  15. Sydy has done an excellent job explaining some techniques he is using in the ACM campaign (with videos). You can find his thread here.
  16. Shutdown conditions are the same for all the missions (so the same as mission 1): Battery turned off and no FE Knock It Off or Terminate calls prior to landing. I recommend trying it again and see if the flags trip correctly in the next attempt.
  17. We have a number of campaigns in the pipeline including this one. We are updating all the voice overs (there are alot of them) and making other enhancements and adjustments to make it play better than the initial offering. Sorry but we don't have any ETA yet.
  18. It looks like you are about 250' above sea level at Batumi which could be enough to put you outside the altitude block. We haven't completed retesting but wanted to share this screenshot to help explain the issue.
  19. We will retest the mission in case something has changed in the game engine to impact the altitude levels. I noticed you have your altimeter set to 2992. If you set your altimeter based on the pressure setting given by the ATC at take off or when vectored for a landing you should be flying at the altitude the FE expects and what is programmed into the mission. If you leave it at 2992 you can verify the altitude you would need to fly at by viewing the waypoint information in the CDU and + or - the 100' or 200' qualification zone ranges. This is even more pronounced at an airport like Vaziani where the initial altimeter setting is ~1800' above sea level so an 8000' altitude is shown as 9800' in the CDU if you don't change your altimeter setting based on the ATC recommended value. So you have a choice, you can fly at the level the FE recommends using the ATC altimeter setting or fly at the altitude indicated on the CDU Waypoint page if flying with a setting of 2992. Both should ensure you are in the correct altitude block. Our understanding is you set 2992 above the Transition Altitude and set to the ATC given altimeter setting when below that. Here are some references that discuss the Transition Altitude and the specific settings for Batumi. In North America it's less of an issue as the Transition Altitude is fixed at 18000'. Maybe some European pilots can chime in and clarify this point better.
  20. This post has instructions on how you can bypass the mission if desired. What is the termination message given? It could be speed, heading or altitude depending on how you fly the mission. You can compare your flight to Recon Stewarts attempt to see where you are deviating:
  21. We did some testing last week and found that the mouse cursor disappeared when the FPS was less than 10 on our test system (i7, 16gb RAM, GTX970). It was reliably displayed with any FPS above that. Playing with the graphics settings / PD values we could get playable frames which improved once you were out of the Las Vegas area. We are surprised the AI units would have such an impact as the majority of the ones at Nellis are inactive (they are part of a template we created for future missions). We will do what we can to improve the performance while keeping the immersive eye candy. This user found a workaround for the missing cursor and reported it in this thread. Jabbers from the ED Testers team posted this excellent video on how he has adjusted his VR settings to get good framerates. Definitely worth a look if you haven't tried adjusting your settings. Will post an update when we have more to say.
  22. FPS has been an issue for many folks with the NTTR map and ED is working to improve it. There are numerous threads regarding changing graphics settings, installing better graphics cards and cpus, etc. In VR your PD setting makes a big difference and the higher you set it the worse the FPS gets again depending on your hardware. We didn't see the issue during development so will retest and see if it is related to something more recent. If we can improve the performance we will provide an update.
  23. Sorry you are having problems installing the campaign. Make sure you are running the latest version of DCS World. When a campaign is released there is a DCS World update to add it to the Module Manager. If you are already running the latest version try a DCS Repair to correct any problem files. If it still doesn't show up then you should open a support ticket with ED so they can investigate further. Once the content is created and given to ED for release we don't have any control over the deployment mechanisms as that is all managed by the game engine code supported by ED. Please email us at mapleflagmissions@gmail.com if you have further issues or any questions - we will do what we can to help.
  24. What version of DCS World did this occur in? Depending on how close the bombs are dropped to the infantry you can impact the blue forces on the road just south of the target area. In testing we find dropping the bomb in the middle of the infantry will kill all of them and not cause the blue on blue impact. In making a gun run ensure you are attacking South to North so any ricochets will be away from the blue forces.
  25. With ED removing the ability to traverse the directory tree from the Missions menu you can still access the practice missions (or individual campaign missions) by opening them in the Mission Editor. The the other option is to copy them to your Saved Games mission folder then they will show up under the My Missions section of the Missions menu. Copy from <your drive letter>:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\campaigns\A-10C AAT to <your drive letter>:\Saved Games\DCS\Missions I don't expect ED to reverse their decision so copying them might be the best method forward but you will have to recopy them if they get updated in a future release.
