True. But is the information on the store page relevant for the product that you deliver? Because I bought the A8 in early access and I am still waiting for alot of the apraised features to be delivered in a proper manner. I am talking mainly radio and weapon systems and post June 44 versions.

Bonjour, tu devrais essayer de réchauffer le moteur avant taxi. C'est assez pour 5 minutes.

This article nicely sums up the tests done by Rechlin and FW and the later modifications or changes to the model: https://www.spruemaster.com/wp-content/gallery/manual/FW190A8.pdf But it is like you said. The F8 got C3 injection or higher manifold pressure, but only for Bodenladebetrieb up to altitudes of 1000m. The A8 got the higher manifold pressure without C3 but for Boden- & Höhenlader so for all altitudes. The changes to mass production were done in July 44 and the already operational older A8 were modified in the field.

DCS: Me 262 Discussion (Development on hold currently)
MrExplosion replied to NineLine's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
... and this is the 262 thread and part of the reason a new poll was proposed by NineLine was to find out if enough people are interested in the 262 aaaand the 262 is not in your poll. Sooo.... ;) -

That poll is void, since the situation changed after the majority of votes had been cast. -
Just a single mission, but maybe you want to try it: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3309460/

There were multiple variants of the A8, hence the title of the thread.

Yes, I noticed some mistakes as well. The translators apparently didnt know about correct radio brevity or even military structure in Luftwaffe (mixing up Schwarm & Staffel for instance). Still a nice campaign tho.

It is officially out of EA... the icon showing EA is just one more bug

Test it on Caucasus. It should work there at least for a few airfields. Unfortunately it doesnt seem possible to make it work on the WW2 maps.

We only need a few more modules, a proper late 44/early 45 map and some more assets (like working radar) to call this theatre more or less complete. Pls consider putting your energy into getting this finished before putting considerable effort into a new SEA theatre. Also, pls consider providing the community with a roadmap to reach this goal (aka a list of features to be completed in chronological order until said goal is reached). I think most of the WW2 community would appreciate something like this. Thanks.

DCS: Me 262 Discussion (Development on hold currently)
MrExplosion replied to NineLine's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
I understand your view. But what is the most iconic Axis aircraft of late 44 - early 45 in your eyes? In my eyes it's the 262 & D9. K4 in a supporting role. And we are almost there. Allies need Tempest and 150 Octane. Then we need a proper map and we have a somewhat complete theatre. Or what do you think? Without the Tempest and the 262, the D9 and K4 make no sense at all. -

Flyable 262 was the first stretch goal. And switchting to a new theatre when the current one is at best half finished would make no sense at all. -
Yes, I think that is the way most buyers see it. But not ED.
-
They just stopped working on this in mid-development. So probably noone had time to remove the label. And since there is no QA done on this module, nobody noticed.
-
It's probably a complicated feature that will be implemented in a few years.

WTF!? The current plane set only makes the least amount of sense if 262 and Tempest come after the Mossie along with a Netherlands - North Germany map. But whatever... looking at the Channel Map I can see you set your own priorities. I for one chose to boycot ED WW2 products after the disaster that is the A8 and it seems that won't be changing any time soon. -
Hey guys, I'm new to this bird and looking for good content to play to get familiar with it. I was gonna try the deployment campaign but it seems pretty buggy and needs an overhaul. So I wondered if you guys could recommend a nice immersive campaign or mission with good voice overs etc. I have all the maps so thats not a factor. Thanks!

[REPORTED]Deployment campaign needs a polish up
MrExplosion replied to martinistripes's topic in Bugs and Problems
I can confirm this. -
In mission 12 I dont get any datalink information. I have my D/L set to On, my IFF set to On, Mids A+B turned on, SURV to on in SA page, NCTR to on in Radar. What could I be missing? Thx :)

Why don't our warbirds cough and struggle on startup?
MrExplosion replied to Nealius's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
BBC just released an extensive sound library. Maybe ED can take some inspiration from there? :) For example this: Supermarine Spitfire, exterior, start, run up, misfire, rev up, tickover, taxi away. http://bbcsfx.acropolis.org.uk/assets/07017163.wav -
Just a couple of questions: Did you buy the A8 thinking you would get the F8/G8 and the more advanced version of the A8 with EN? Did you feel when buying the A8 that getting F8/G8 was part of the deal? Do you think development & bugfixing on the A8 has been abandoned because it sold badly? Does ED hold the risk of business or do you? Do you get money back if the module you bought sold way better than expected? Do you think it's fair that the development of the module just get's dropped way before it's done without giving out any info?
