I was playing the "Iran Flogger Faceoff" mission (Supercarrier) and noticed that the MiG-23s were not taking off like they used to. When I played the Stennis mission as a test, the MiG-23 took off as if nothing had happened. I checked the mission file to see what was affecting it, and found that each mission has a different parking spot where the MiG-23 spawns. Nomal mission Supercarrier mission In the case of the MiG-23 at the H-spot, it seems to get stuck if the second or later aircraft is in front of the first. This is solved by placing the first unit in the foreground. As a side note, CVN-74 is now available for supercarriers, so for SC holders, there is almost no difference between either mission. So why not change the normal version of the carrier to the Forrestal class?

I was very surprised and saddened to hear the news. There were days when I practiced MiG-21 and F-5E just to fly on this fun server. If I had not known about this server, if it had not existed, I would not have taken such an interest in Cold War aircraft. I salute Alpenwolf for all his efforts so far. And I hope we can continue to enjoy our days together as DCS players, even though we are from different places. Thank you so much.

Any chance of getting the manual before the 20th?
Admiral_ZIPANGU replied to gnomechild's topic in Aerges

@Vibora The manual PDF says S530D will be included, but will it eventually include both S530F and S530D?

I look forward to the release of Apache. I am hoping to build a mission to fly Apache from LHA-1 Tarawa after its release. Just wondering, is it possible to align the EGI of the Apache on a ship underway?

The visor function is very nice, but it doesn't seem to work very well in VR. Do you have any plans to optimize the visor for VR?

I set my KC-135s to "Invisible" so that they would not be attacked by enemy aircraft, but they would be invisible not only to enemy eyes but also to friendly Link 16s. Of course, there is an AWACS in that airspace, and the other aircraft show up in the datalink, but not that tanker. To test this, I removed the "invisible" setting and the tanker shows up in the datalink. If I set an AWACS like the E-3A or E-2D to "invisible", it will still show up in the datalink, but the KC-135 will not. This is too much of an inconvenience.

reported Warehouses Bugged Again
Admiral_ZIPANGU replied to Alpenwolf's topic in Mission Editor Bugs
I have just noticed that there are no items in the Warehouse for AN/ASQ-213(HTS) and AN/ALQ-184(Long). I hope you can solve the problem in the Warehouse as soon as possible. -

Announcing the F-4 Phantom for DCS World!
Admiral_ZIPANGU replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
One thing I would like to ask you is when did you start using the catchphrase "Phantom Forever (or Phorever)" as seen in the trailer video? In my country (Japan), the Air Self-Defense Force liked to paint that catchphrase on the aircraft when they retired the F-4. -
The choice of F-4E fits Iran in the Persian Gulf map and Israel in the Syrian map that exist in the current DCS. It was not only operated by the United States, the country that developed it, but also by many countries that imported it, hence it is certainly the most anticipated derivative. If I had to pick one, it would be the RF-4E. An aircraft capable of reconnaissance missions would be a great asset to the DCS.

"Official" F-4E Livery Discussion
Admiral_ZIPANGU replied to LanceCriminal86's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
It is gratifying to me that you are interested in JASDF skins in Japan. I would be very grateful if you could recreate the appearance of the Last Phantom in Japan. JASDF is very fond of the phrase "Phantom Forever". -
It's great that the F-4E is being developed. If I may ask one thing, is it possible to implement an AI model of the Heat Blur F-4E as well as the A-6 ahead of time? If the model alone is implemented first, it would be a great motivator to see the aircraft parked on the ground. In my opinion, the prior implementation of the AI model is a good advertisement for DCS:F-4E.

Announcing the F-4 Phantom for DCS World!

I urge you to challenge the reconnaissance phantoms. -
It is not in the distant future, but this year. Later this year, air combat on this server will become more exciting. In my country, the F-4EJ/EJ Kai was retired last March. I am sure I will be flying in my country's Liveries. My dream is expanding.

Sorry to keep you waiting so long. I have prepared a script and a mission for your reference. Since you said you wanted to repeat Deactive and Active in the F10 menu, I'll also give you a script to add a submenu to the F10 menu. I'm sure it will make the F10 menu more useful. First, set up the F10 menu that contains the submenus. Aircraft include one group each of A-10C and F-16C at Sukumi and Kobuleti, and ground vehicles include M2A2 Bradley and NASAMS at Sukumi. Both groups are set to "Late Activation". Now we will configure the F10 menu as follows. In this case, the script should be set as follows. This is the content of "F10_Menu_Setup.lua" in the attached ZIP file. (The green text has no effect on the script.) In this case, the F10 menu will be displayed on both sides, so if you want to display it only on the Blue side, please change this to the following. For the Red side: coalition.side.RED Next, create a script to activate or deactivate them. This is the content of "F10_Spawn_Setup.lua" in the attached ZIP file. This is all the script that needs to be set. Finally, load these scripts in the mission editor. Load all the files with "MISSION START" and "DO SCRIPT FILE" as shown in the following image. Don't forget to include the MIST file. Now you are all set. Each group will be activated or deactivated about 2 seconds after the command. This may have been quite a long text and difficult to understand. If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them. F10_Spawn_Setup_example.zip RespawnScript_Example.miz

Unfortunately, once an aircraft is destroyed or deactivated, it is not possible to trigger it to respawn. In my case, I really wanted to make respawning a reality, so I created a script, referring to the Wiki and other scripts. I'm not able to get to it right now, but I can show you the script later if there is demand.

That picture is probably the J-10B/C. The probe mounting position on the JF-17 needs to be much higher. Even if a 3D model could be made, I think it would be difficult to reproduce the internal avionics. However, I wonder why they were able to produce the JF-17. Do they have a way to collect some sort of data on Chinese aircraft?

Dear ED, have you lost your mind? Detail related
Admiral_ZIPANGU replied to ebabil's topic in DCS: AH-64D
The Japanese community members, including myself, are looking forward to the release itself, not worrying about when it will come. We also have a small number of AH-64Ds deployed in Japan. The opportunity to touch the aircraft in our country in a simulator is precious. Don't forget that among those who don't speak up, there are those who are just imagining the release and looking forward to it anyway. Don't forget that there are people who are thinking about the efforts of the engineers and continue to cheer them on from behind the scenes. I am waiting for the day when you engineers will bring us something wonderful. Please keep up the good work! @BIGNEWY Please bring this voice to the engineers.- 52 replies
