  1. I just installed it. I like it! It does remove the haze and requires a recompile of the shaders.
  2. Still a great mod in DCS 2.9. Thanks! FYI: In-depth YouTube Video of Spitfire Mk V - Gun Sight MkII: https://youtu.be/Lq8NBk42BJ4?si=ORvdJLBG264q6xXL
  3. Hi @6S.Duke thanks but I am not sure what you mean by "partialisation" command. I did not see any reference in the bindings or the MB339 Manual. The ON/OFF Command does not help for the toggle switch used as a flap like in the Logitech X56 throttle with a slider switch operating as an On - Else Off switch. I am happily using Quaggles Command Input Injector so I am still pleased. I am also looking forward to your next module.
  4. Especially an ON Else OFF for AirBrake. {down = AirBrakeLeverOff, up = AirBrakeLeverOn, value_down = 0, value_up = 1, name = _('Airbrake Slider - Extend/Retract'), category = {_('Flight Control'), _('Throttle Grip')}}, -- for Slider Switch on X56/X55 or any 2 Position Switch |UP = Pressed & DOWN = Released|
  5. So far so good. Great MOD! I just re-installed Caucasus Redone last night and can never go back to the Default.. lol.. I can only speculate with "hypothetical conspiracy theories" as to why Eagle Dynamics has not added Caucasus Redone and TAZ's Better Trees to the Core DCS Files.
  6. I agree that the Manual for the Additional Cams and springs does not have more detailed info on the force and curves of the included cams. Fortunately, the Download PDF for the J2-2-BASE-User-Manual on page 4 does have some of the information you may be looking for as to how the cam forces are distributed. FYI: technically you can install Cams and springs on all 4 sides of the base for "MUCH MORE FORCE". Note that doing so means you can't install the optional dampers. I tried it once for fun - I think it is better for center mount and if using the full extension option. Good luck!
  7. I started experimenting with the DCS 2.9 Update on my RX 6800 this evening: Currently, My Primary Resolution is 2560 x 1440 In the AMD Software, I have Radeon Image Sharpening Enabled and Sharpness at 30% In DCS I have: AMD FSR Scaling = 0.8 Sharpening = 0.3 Using FSR Scaling below 0.65 the image does look more blurry/fuzzy. You will need to increase Sharpening in DCS if you are not using Radeon Image Sharpening in the Radeon Driver. Cheers.
  8. @SkateZilla this update is BIG. Just installed and so far so good.. have a great weekend!
  9. Thanks @Raz_Specter: I do not doubt that the map will continue to improve. Since this was Razbam's first MAP I would expect that there have been many lessons learned. Cheers.
  10. Everything that 2.9 and 3.0 will have to offer! If you don't ask you don't get. Higher visual quality and better performing Anti-Aliasing: The distracting amount of shimmering on distant structures is heartbreaking. MSAA X4 is too much of a performance hit on all but the most high-end GPUs. Currently, I am using ReShade with SMAA.fx and Temporal_AA.fx to help with performance and minimize the distracting shimmering.
  11. Thanks. I managed to get Fluid Motion Frames working after I disconnected my two Portrait Monitors and uninstalled then re-installed the AMD Preview Driver 23.30.01.02 using DDU. Sadly - It stopped working after some time of tweaking and testing. These are Beta drivers so I will look forward to better stability in the future - NO Rush.
  12. The Preview Drivers need DCS to run in the "Full-Screen Exclusive" Mode. From my 30 minutes of testing, it looks like the DCS "*Full-Screen" option is insufficient to Enable Fluid Motion in the current AMD Beta Driver. Testing on my RX 6800.
  13. Hello @sedenion - I 100% support and agree with your position. I recommend you update the First Page of this thread to include the Sourceforge URL. The vital thing to know is that you are not alone in your thinking.
  14. Good News with the subsequent patch fixes. It would be nice to see Trim Speed / Sensitivity settings added to the Special Options Menu too. I recall the free MB-339 already had this. Cheers
  15. @Vibora I had to read your update 3 times because I could not believe what I was seeing.. lol... I look forward to the PREORDER and will Follow Aerges and your updates on the F-104. Much appreciated.
  16. Use the SimAppPro software. The Test Tab shows the status of all buttons and axis for your Orion 2 Base and Grip. There is a Dead zone setting for the Orion 2 Base.
  17. Tobii GameHub has been updated from 2.8.x to 3.x. Not sure how but the GameHub automatically updated this week from what I can tell I recently had a chance to try the new GameHub settings for DCS and one that stands out the most for me is the Relative Head Position. With Relative Head Positions ON you can look at your left-right or rear panels and lean in to zoom. The result will be close to what TrackIR TrueView does in that your cockpit view will zoom in in the direction you are looking at. Experiment with the new settings and see what parameters feel better for you. Gamehub 3.x.Highlights Implemented settings for head and eye tracking for multiple-axis Implemented Relative Head Position in Game Hub Improved UI for game settings New head illustrations and limit controller design
  18. Yes.. watched many of his videos.. I love how some people with "tiny brains" try to take him to court too.. lol. Thanks. Cheers.
  19. @=Andre=LoL.. My Surface Mount Soldering skills are non-existent - The same motor failed. I just replaced and resoldered the replaceable fuses again and the upper right motor [6] is happy. Hopefully, my solder skills improved since June! Happy flying.
  20. I noticed this Interesting Video of the Virtual Turkish Starts Team that uses their own custom-built NF-5A's and NF-5B's mods. Reading through some of the comments they mention: @SanalTurkYildizlari - We are in the process of making a T-38A/C/M, which will be available publicly once we finish it" Maybe someday! https://youtu.be/JqO_wcvT5XA
  21. Cool.. any update that gives me a reason to take out the MB-339 is appreciated. Last night I felt like relaxing so I took the MB-339 out for some "Quick Start Dubai Air Show therapy".
  22. Just installed it tonight.. Very Good indeed! A+. Even works with RedK0d Clickable Cockpit v1.1.5
  23. I am looking forward to comparing the quality of the MiG-17 Cockpit to the MiG-19 when it comes out... Maybe the MiG-15 will be refreshed by then. FYI: There is an interesting Russian Grey Cockpit Mod for the MiG_19 by Frost in the user files. I was also able to install the MOD in Saved Games. Just look at the User Files Comments for instructions - there are only 2. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3320397/
  24. Bump. Looking for the Shorter Grass Setting. My theory of grass being half the current height could increase performance at a low level because there would be fewer polygons to draw.
