  1. If you keep flaps down, nose wheel steering will be less violent.
  2. The last update makes landing a bit easier, the secret is to come at 300kph and flare above runway, using ground effect. Before, it was really difficult, the aircraft had a tendency to sink above runway. I'm happy with this first 'tunning pass' on the Fulcrum FM.
  3. LOL! I find it really difficult to land.
  4. The question is, which flavor of Mig-29 is that one?
  5. Thank you very much for your help! Let me do the training to properly land this beast!
  6. Thank you sir! But how about the altitudes for each leg? Do you have this information also?
  7. Why does the manual don't say a word about landing procedures, aproach and landing speeds... Where can I learn how to land it?
  8. Yes, I noticed a big pitch up when flaps fully deploy.
  9. But how? There is no up/down movement that is transferred as a rotational movement... The jet engine is rotational only. How does a fuel exploding makes it turn?
  10. I've been thinking... what makes a jet engine spin? On a piston engine, there's an small explosion that pushes the piston downward, and the crankshaft inertia pushes the piston upward... that up/down movement of the piston makes the crankshaft spin, and this movement is transferred to the wheels... How the jet engine keeps spinning?
  11. Oh man, I love the Mig-23, it's a shame no one has ever made a detailed simulator base on it. The best option we have now is Third wire sims, too arcade for my tastes...
  12. OK man, not asking again! :)
  13. Well, since it didn't work out as planned, can you return LLTV? I found amazing flying a "fiction KA-50N". :)
  14. Wow, you managed to "inject" some kind of thermal vision to shkval! Fantastic! Can't wait to fight with the Ka-50M++
  15. The KA-50 problem is mastering the flight controls. Flying the damn thing is much more difficult than operating all navigation and weapons systems. My advice is, read the bare minimum of the manual so you know how to start up and take off. Than practice flying, trimming, level turns, combat turns, start hover, avoid vortex ring state, avoid over speed/rotor destruction, landings, etc... After you feel confident in your flying skills, than learn how to blow up stuff.
  16. As a brazilian who saw the M-2000C thundering through our skies, I can't wait to buy it.
  17. Bribes and lobbists are not exclusivity of Brasil arms deal...
  18. In my opinion, the transfer of technology and the possibility in taking part on the development process have decided the competition. The Rafale is too expensive and our air force dislikes the french support. The americans don't transfer technology even if the S. Hornet is an aging fighter... And there is the spy incident... We are disposing our Mirage 2000 this month. Our modernized F-5 will fill the gap until the Gripen arrives. About the Meteor missile, I see no reason for MBDA to deny it. It would not inbalance the region because Chile, Peru and Venezuela all have modern BVR missiles. Also, I think we should develop a new BVR missile with Denel (like the A-darter program).
  19. Hi guys, I managed to setup FTnIR but whenever I quit a mission, the game crashes. Are there any fixes por this?
  20. Well, I've been away from BS2 since february but now I resumed flying with 1.2.0 version. I don't know what you guy did but it feels much more "in my hands" then before. The response is much sharper and now I finaly feel I'm in control of this beast. Thanks ED! :-D
  21. Nice, I hope to see this one day in the future. This will turn DCS into more of a "sandbox" sim, where the comunity can help ED build combat environments from all eras...
  22. Is ED planning to release tools (API's, frameworks, etc) to allow the community to build content like terrain, objects, airplanes, cockpits, etc?
  23. Does Ka-50 and A-10C can be pluged in DCS World right now?
  24. Download DCS: P-51D, install DCS World and be happy. =) You don't have to buy P-51D to download the package.
  25. Well, this is not related to DCS A-10C but to A-10C avionics. It doesn't make sense set the CBU Burst Height on the inventory page. Why they didn't put it on the profile page? It would be much easier.
