DMT does not locks into anything... it's a camera that ground stabilizes to something on the ground... when using the DMT, you just need to bring it online to your MFD (using hotas commands) and than slew it unsing HOTAS too... once you find the object of interest, just leave DMT there, you don't need to press nothing to lock it.

Some questions: - Are you changing the laser code before droping LGB? By default, the laser code is 1111, you need to change it to something else. - The harrier currently does not activates the laser automatically, you need to press 'fire' button on tpod MFD page, usually I turn it on 10 seconds before release.

Hi! What is the proper command to force my wingman to do something? Played the mission three times now, with the following results: 1. On wpt5, I descended to 1000' altitude, to try to avoid SAM. Wingman #2 hit a mountain. Wingman #3 returned to base with all his loadout. 2. On wpt5, I stayed at 19k' and ordered both wingman to attack primary and RTB. They did absolutely nothing and return to base with all their loadout. 3. Changed the loadout before takeoff (switched the AIM-9 for Sidearms) and made myself the 'SAM escort'. This time wingman #2 fired his Sidearms, but wingman #3 returned with his full loadout.

I use then against IFV's and APC's and they work very well. I think the OP is doing something wrong, or expecting unrealistic effects agains MBT's maybe?

The MB-339 mod have a option to remove HUD too. If you love the viggen, you'll need to get used to the hud.

I managed to return to 2.5.5 performance by doing this: - deleted metashaders2 and fxo folders - executed DCS repair (delete all files and mods, I'll reinstall A-4E-C latter ;) ) - on my nvidia control panel, restored defaults and set "let the 3D application decide - opened the game and set the graphics to high - set MSAA to off, SSAA to 1.5, shadows to flat that all... I'm happy again (for now).

Other than that, JSBSim was developed for a civilian sim... I don't know if it can take into account the drag of the stores, and asymmetry when you release then... I hope some day they can find a solution.

According to the A-4E-C team's latest post, they are evaluating JSBSim, a flight dynamics library used on Flight Gear open source flight simulator. Let's hope they can integrate it to our beloved A-4.

Well, the mod changed from a SFM to a much improved EFM, making the MB-339 a joy to fly now. I think it's a matter of adapting to the new version and changing your doctrines (as in real military).

I really miss a "DMS" type switch on HOTAS that would allow quick switch between MFD pages. I like Harrier cockpit and systems but the HOTAS is not that well thought out (IMHO).

As you do a "rolling takeoff' from the LHA's deck, you are not limited to the 23k pounds maximum weight for VTOL... so you may carry a decent payload and fuel...

I think MB-339 has a external flight model that can be stalled... I'll take a look later.

No radio... you have permission to do whatever you want. Yet, you can still call ground crew with the canopy open.

Is this even an issue?

I use stores page on left MFD and EHSI or RWR on right MFD... This way, when I uncage a maverick, it will display the missile's video feed on the left MFD.

I don't get it, if you release as a zip people complain and most of then can't even install it properly, like the A-4E-C mod. When you release a exe that automates the install, people also complain... come on people!? I have 3 questions: 1. can I use ILS? 2. can I use radios? 3. it looks like the MB-339 can make hard turns without bleeding much airspeed, is it the correct behavior?

Yesterday I took it for a quick first flight and I'm impressed. You managed to deliver a way better module than a certain British trainer that doesn't even exists anymore... Congratulations!

Just remember to engage anti-skid on before take-off, it's really hard and dangerous to take off with NWS permanently engaged...
