I turned up the power on my buttkicker and then set the speedbrake value in the software from Andre to 100 and in the F18 I do feel it. It is not super strong but it is enough to know they are deployed. How much of a sensation are they in real aircraft that you flew? -

It does not work for me either. Landing gear thumps for the F14 are not active either. Gear thump for F18 and F16 work fine though. -
Some airfields are working in the F14 but some of them I cant pronounce so VA has no idea what I am saying.

i have noticed that it works but can take a long time recognize or you may have to speak louder and more clearly. I got it to work several times last night but it was not consistent. I also saw today that after the profile update to add the syria map airport keywords that none of those work with the select command. Only nearest ATC, Select works.

I am seeing the same thing with high RAM usage. Getting stuttering at low altitude in VR with shadows off and terrain textures at low no MSAA SSAA.

No it doesn't reset it. every time I open VA it still shows the finish button in yellow but does nothing when i update the text in the profile. The Apply button stays grayed out. I hit the test button and the picture attached shows the result

I have a similar issue every time i start VA up. The Finish button is yellow so I click it then try to update the keywords as usual but the Apply button never goes active.

Pretty much all of my vibration event issues were solved after getting a cheap USB sound card. Is there any way to edit the way the buffet feeling is transmitted? Changing it from a pulsing to more of an actual buffet or rapid shudder feel? In every plane I test the stall or buffet just feels like a constant quick pulsing. This was not the case when I was using just the demo version of the simshaker sound module for some reason. Now that I run both the sound module and the Aviator together it changed the feel. -

If you are using simshaker for aviators then you likely have the box checked for G-effect or G-feeling. This will cause a constant vibration but you can adjust the deadzone on the second tab and tune it for level flight and delay the action in turns and climbs. I did this and it works great. Or sometimes I just turn off g-effect totally since it gets to be too much along with the other effects layering on.

I am not getting any clunk or feel in the f14 for the landing gear deploy and retract until well after the gear has locked down or retracted up. It can take 10 seconds or more to feel it once the in game action is completed. -

I am going to try out a USB sound card to see if it helps me as well. The odd effects for some things like flaps g-effect I turned off as well. I have audacity but no idea how to edit these properly. The AB effect is either super aggressive or mild in the 18 and 16. The F14 is better for some reason an also with the buffet stall effects. In the F18 and F16 the buffet stall effect is a pulsating and not a shudder or shake like it was in the demo software. Overall the software is helpful but there is a lot of fine tuning to do that I have not figured out yet. I got the USB sound card to hopefully filter out the vibration when Jester talks or other AI. -

Yes so most of the sounds and effects seem to work ok now but in the F14 the Buffet/stall is contently triggering in level flight and it is a pulsating feeling not a shudder like it did when I just had the demo version software. I had to turn the flaps off in the F18 because of the same pulsating effect. It doesn't matter if I have Voicemeeter or my headphones or speakers selected for every application either. I am getting a constant clicking in the headphones or like a intermittent static noise. The engine rumble has to be off for both planes as well or the same static clipping happens constantly. I have the buttkicker so I am not sure what has to be setup differently over the jetseat or generic transducer. -

I tried selecting every sound device I have to test and it makes no difference. Certain effects work just fine except AB,flasp, gear and gun in the F18 F16. Those all work fine in the F14 though. I am also using Voicemeeter and onboard sound car in the motherboard. -

I just got my buttkicker and the AB effect is nothing in the F18 and F16 and I cant feel the flaps or gear either unless i got to F2 view. THe f14 is fine though. I have audacity but never edited the wav files before in DCS. -

Make sure every time you bring up the A2A radar that the elevation carrot on the left side of the DDI is not stuck at the top or bottom. This has been happening to me consistently and i have to point the elevation of the radar down to the middle since it wont self center. -
I ordered the Simshaker sound module and I have the Aviator module downloaded as well. Also I have the same issue as the other user about the F18 and F16 afterburner effect being very subtle or even nothing at all when in cockpit view. If I go to external view behind the plane then the effect is very strong. The F14 afterburner effect has a very strong feel in the cockpit though.

Ok so I need both Simshaker sound module and Aviators then. I downloaded both demos and I am having issues setting things up. The F14 afterburner is really strong if I want it to be but the F18 and F16 I barely feel it at all along with other feedback like stall but then the G feedback in the F18 is really strong. Cant feel gear or flaps but maybe that is because I dont have the paid vversion? voices also cause vibration which I have to figure out.
