  1. Would be good if DCS would recognise the keyword in the name, but then you've got twilight missions as well.. You could use a batch file before starting up, depends if you really want an extra step. Personally I only have the day version installed. I find it's fine at night, because most of the time the kneeboard is hidden. I just pop it up when I need to check something.
  2. Thanks no worries. I think most people using bypass wouldn't have a program anyway, may as well just use a manual program. I managed to edit my A4E program (countermeasures.lua line 51-54), and the Ka-50 default program (UV_26.lua line 21, 34, 49) . I failed to find default programs for F5 (kneeboard), F14 (RIO Cockpit), and the Apache (MFD chaff, kneeboard flares). The Apache is a bit different with flares set on the ground, chaff set in the MFDs. Can probably edit one of them but I couldn't get it working.
  3. Not just the TPOD, happens with the IR Mav the most. DMT isn't as severe but still definitely noticable. Another screenshot, showing IR Mav and DMT screens not matching exports.
  4. When adjusting the MPCD Brightness and Contrast to enable picking up FLIR contacts, the MFD Export versions are changing at a different rate and not in sync with the cockpit. See screenshot - exported MFD on the right brightness is visible, but when adjusting to that level it leaves the cockpit MPCD so dark it is not visible. Tested in other modules (F18) the brightness and contrast are perfectly in sync between the internal cockpit and external MFD exports, the MFD exports are usually mirror images of what is in the cockpit. Are you able to fix it so that they stay the same?
  5. Updated version attached with F16 and Harrier updates. Only problem I saw was Chaff-only program for Harrier, and the F-16 programs excluding program1. Haven't fully tested all the programs though because I only use 3 per aircraft. One thing I noticed with the M2000 that is probably just a quick of the Mirage is that the intervals are extremely fast, I guess it's not expressed in seconds. Would be cool to have longer intervals available, but I'm not sure if Razbam allows it. DiCE-DCS-Integrated-Countermeasure-Editor_by_Bailey - patched.zip
  6. Thanks good info, I'll prob do a lua edit for these that can.. though their programs are relatively simple. Found an issue I think in the latest version with the Viper, I'll PM you my test data.
  7. Nice, do you have anything like this for the other maps?
  8. Nice thanks. Don't know why I was so slow in setting this up its awesome. Curious which other modules you've checked and ruled out in terms of adding them to this, or any news on future modules besides the Apache? The other modules I'm interested in are the Ka-50, F-5, A-4, Viggen Thanks!
  9. I feel sorry for the fish at this coral reef, looks like they have really been getting it from you lately
  10. Which fuzing did you choose? Is it the same for both?
  11. Seems we posted at about the same time on this. I've put up a track and steps to reproduce here:
  12. With multiple IR Mavericks selected, when uncaging the subsequent Mavericks this behavior is noted: 1. They uncage in Wide FOV, this can be verified by setting Sensor to IRMV then NWS button which brings the FOV in to narrow FOV 2. Uncaged in Wide FOV, they don't have the frame/bracket symbology to indicate this. Steps to reproduce AG & Master Arm Designation DESG from EHSD or from HUD EW/Map on left, TPOD double press on right TPOD designate Maverick F Select IRMav on left page Point jet at target & UNCAGE Undesignate/NWS to zoom FOV SSS Fwd: Change from IRMV Slew TDC Designate (if IRMV in left corner) PICKLE Next Mav UNCAGE to bring next Mav Screen Undesignate/NWS to zoom FOV (ITS ZOOMED OUT BUT NO BARS) NOTE the FOV changes but symbology was missing SSS Fwd: Change from IRMV Slew TDC Designate (if IRMV in left corner) Attached -screenshots before and after -Track -Video here in case DCS track dies with patch: 24 seconds shows how wide FOV should look (first maverick), 1:33 shows uncaging a subsequent maverick into wide FOV without symbology. 13. Normally most aircraft unguided bombing in Ripple Mode will use the standard convention of having the pilot place the aiming pipper in the middle of where they want the line of bombs to go. E.g. if bombing a convoy you would aim the pipper at the middle vehicle, and the bombs would start before that and end after that based upon the interval distancing parameter. The A10C, F-16C, F/A-18C and alot of other modules in DCS perform this way including older modules as well. I don't have any documentation on it, but RAZBAM_Alpha Juliet mentioned in Discord it may need correcting so I'm posting a track. To reproduce: Load up many slick unguided bombs Fly a normal attack approach for CCIP or CCRP A/G Mode & select bombs eg Mk82 ACM set CCIP, Instant Fuzing, Maximum Qty, 200ft interval Aim at middle of a target convoy Note the bombs don't start to release until the aimpoint, whereas normal behaviour should be to release half of the bombs before the aim point with spacing based upon the interval distance To demonstrate correct behavior, perform the same procedure with the A10, F16, or F/A-18. Track attached. Convoy.trk
  14. Sorry I'm not a good writer but must have conveyed a misunderstanding. I didn't think I said to only read theory. I meant using Chucks guide for practical training. His guides are not written as theory/manuals, they are written as a guide literally. Ie walking you through the steps to do something, eg walking through the exact steps to lase a target and fire an L Maverick. You open the weapon practice mission, turn on active pause, then execute the steps in the guide live. It's more reliable because DCS updates tend to break the training missions. But I do agree it can teach us well to do the training missions too (if they are retested and repaired every few months).
  15. Latest version open beta on 4 June 2022 Reproduce: Takeoff as instructed Gear up and Nav mode as instructed Waypoint 1 and pass 10,000ft as instructed Mission does not proceed to next stage Track file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5ril4rmq5obixvv/Harrier Caucasus TM011 FULL.miz_04062022_09-03.trk?dl=0
  16. @imacken and @BashibazoukI'm sure you're aware of Chucks guides document, but I can recommend it as the ONLY tutorial method to learn the harrier since it is very up to date with the major changes, new version was released only 8 months ago. I used to get information overload going between youtube, training missions, guides and manuals but now I just do Chucks from start to finish for each module and I'm ready for campaigns/online. Having it on an ipad or 2nd screen and stepping through with a live flight running, read and do the steps hands on. I found that alot better than youtube videos having to pause and fast forward through the fluff etc. Chucks also has bookmarks for all the sections so its easy to jump forward. Youtube I treat just as entertainment to watch some DCS if I'm away from the computer. The Harrier is not alone in having out of date videos, though it has probably had alot more changes in weapons workflows. I would like to see the training missions fixed though, because they are a good refresher and do teach some extra real world procedures for the Harrier that are above and beyond what other modules have.
  17. I've converted a small subset of the relevant official manual that covers these departures and recoveries into my kneeboards folder among this kneeboard suite. They go quite well together. I'd link it, but I'm not sure about copyright etc.. if @baltic_dragonor Razbam gives the OK I can link a zip of it. Hopefully it could help improve the kneeboard suite as well. Otherwise the relevant pages are 354-365 in the manual that you can screenshot into PNG files as you need. The sizing is almost perfect for kneeboards.
  18. Also post the contents of your Export.lua file. When you open DCS can you see the page in SPECIAL options? Like screenshot here? If you can't see that then the script may not be setup properly null
  19. I use JSGME, but it doesn't cover everything. In any case, I think it kind of highlights that managing this install is more difficult than free mods with mod managers. Giving at least the level of JSGME ability to remove files with it would have been nice, or even a list of changes/files to remove. DCS repair is not a replacement for uninstall or FAQ details.
  20. Can't select that option because it will remove alot of the manual modifications I've done to DCS over the years.
  21. Yeah the default exports are needed for most modern Jets. The Apache is pretty much the only module that needs to have it's own separate monitor config. I hope ED fixes this and renames the CPG exports to remove the interference.
  22. Yeah with these things there's always a risk of damaging something as well, especially if you've modified DCS to your own liking over a few years. Doing it manually wasn't too bad, it was only in a few places. Would be much preferable if the VAICOM FAQ or manual had a page on manual uninstalling or at least a list of files/changes and relative paths.
  23. I don't think so, because I did repair and uninstall before this manual process. It doesn't just modify files, it adds more files. I don't believe the repair removes extra files though I haven't looked into it, but in this case it was still there after repair.
  24. I managed to manually trawl my whole C and D drives using Sublime Text "find in files" searching for files with VAICOM in them. Found a bunch of files both in the DCS Install folder, and in the DCS saved games folder. It wasn't limited to the scripts section. After that, looks like I'm clear of it now.
