Hey Admiral are you updating the main file as you make these changes as well? otherwise can I suggest linking the changes to the first post so we can keep track of whats changing.

So next question do Heliports typically have a runway? looking at the Google data for the 4 on the Syria map theres a wider 'strip' in the middle of each, but are they traditional runways or just an access road? Do you record that on an airfield diagram or just as a location? I would land the sierra on some perhaps, or maybe the Edge540, but not the hornet. so wondering if its worth documenting or not.

The base spec for the sim is 8GB of RAM, my understanding is that every object in the map takes away from the 8GB, so you hit a point where you cant add more detail without needing more base RAM

Yeah Id rather know what I am trying to fly represents the feedback of an actual pilot in the target air frame than consider what might have been. Fun sims can be achieved in games the whole point of DCS is to represent how it actually feels to fly. the target air frame.

If you can afford it go for it, itts a decent entry level joystick, most of the time these things will not have got the use to wear them out so you ahve little to lose.

Is this actually happening? I've been hassling IRIS to convert their PC-9/PC-21 to DCS fora while now. I would love to see this come in for the FAC role DCS needs a good FAC aircraft.

My understanding is that adding anything else to this map breaches the 8GB Min Ram Spec. Its a limitation of the engine atm which I am hoping ED address in the future.

I was reminded today how much I would kill for an F9F Panther/F9f-6Cougar Module to go head to head with the Mig-15 so I could live out my Bridges of Toki Ri dreams.

Maybe hes just good @ his job. RPG's are cheap to train most people get fairly proficient reasonably quick, question for me is should this be top of the list?
