thinking of buying 32" 1080p t.v
emenance replied to con3para's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I use a 32 inch Sony Bravia and couldnt be happier the last two years. My girlfriend is getting this one next week. http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?sku=A3599682&cs=19&c=us&l=en&dgc=SS&cid=27530&lid=627063 Only $500 bucks . Built in Blue Ray and all the sweet internet stuff from sony built in too. CES was over a couple weeks ago so these older tvs are getting blowed out. This TV is really really nice. I would think it has Picture in picture too like my XBR6 so you can run computer and watch tv at the same time. -
Well im interested in your benchs. You can post overclocked benchs but I dont think most here are interested in extreme overclocking. I for one have too many things configured and set up in the OS to start trashing installs. I have backups that can restore my system in ten minutes not ten days but still! . For the track can a stock track be used that everyone has?

I like this company Albatron and they have some of the hottest touch screens in the world. NO BEZELS. There now again a couple people in California that have been stocking their computer stuff again in the USA. I was a reseller of their stuff for awhile. When China was being provacative towrds Tiawan several companys there had thier exports slowed down and Albatron never really got a good grasp on the North American market. Exactly, Logitech has been here before. Now TM sells us some hardware that costs almost twice as much and doesnt have the balls to come here and talk about it? Priceless! -

Logitech g940 price drop and new firmware!!
emenance replied to emenance's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Some guy said on Amazon its now slick as hell in FC2. Some dont even notice a reversal bug anymore. So some still have the small amount that was left in and for some there is no issue. Thats what I read. So some peeps says fix for them, some peeps still are not pleased but alot happier. Sure, as I understand it the slop was tightened up but some small bit had to be left so the motors would not fight each other. FFB sacrafice. What has been the mature rate on these sticks over the years? A year of Rmas and then its better it seems to me. Its 2011 and i really thought by the looks of it the TM HOG...things would be different on the market but seems like its same ol same ol. Finally done with Saitek. Im not looking back. -
Alert! Today at Amazon the price dropped from 275 to $250.00. About 3 weeks the NEW FIRMWARE was released that supposed to fix the reversal bug and slop. Sounds like peeps love it. I have read all of the posts and information on the problem ( reversal bug, slop ) at the Logitech Forums and other places. Many are now happy with it in FC2 and Black Shark!! ?? Your thoughts on the latest firmware? Couple of threads I thought might be worth reviewing too. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=55833&highlight=g940 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=45695 Yeah I think im going to give it a try.

i would agree. If I knew it was in the current shape it is in now I would have waited but I dont mind " complaining " helping along with everyone else! Anyone starting it up for the first time should do so after picking low settings and a small resolution for starters. Its not optimized yet.

The thing whih China is you have to watch for poor cut throught business practices. Business owners go to china for cut throught compitition and cheap prices. Not all things made in china suffer cut throught business quality. A good example are Canon copiers. Leading the market. Japanese designed made in China. Ergotron office products. The best at what they do, great quality. Made in China. TM ordered a small quanity of goods with alot of detail and high quality demands. Not a good combination and ill bet was hard to do. Look at price. -

Cpu function changes can ruin an OS. For example:when we got dual core AMD cpu's. Some systems could not take just dropping in a dual core chip and going on with life like nothing happened. The whole OS had to be reinstalled.

Yeah the x6 is talked down here http://pcper.com/hwlb.php?guide2=y#guide2 and after looking around i still lean towards a quad 4 . Others have decided that too for gaming. x6 seems to be best in a workstation heavy environment. I might surprise myself and be able to retire my rig in 6 months. Amd prices sure are attractive. I guess the Core i7 860 is cheaper and performs better than the 1090T . I think i still have some Amd quad core and i7 comparisons to make. Like a Phenom II 970BE or something. BUT some core I7 dont support the tripple channel memory and thats bad! http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:wTwdgVmzIIkJ:www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/All-Core-i7-Models/708+pci+express+controller+core+i7&cd=5&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

When wierd stuff happens like this alot of times it can be blamed on a weak or failed UPS. -
Just when I though I had the X52....
emenance replied to WildBillKelsoe's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
im about to ebay my x52. Its works great but has a strange problem. In the control panel all of the buttons and checks are perfect. No spikes, all buttons register. But when trying to fly in FC2 the stick doesnt control the plane right and isnt reponsive. I have tried with or with out software and gave up. foggy on details. However Black Shark arcade mode works just fine. Never a problem with the throttle. Not a problem at all with stick in BlackShark Arcade mode. Just the stick with software and control panel checks out everything good. I have become biased towards the sietek. If someone wants it. make an offer. I have the full retail package still. -
Anyone else had a problem like this?
emenance replied to Conure's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
which motherboard? Mine did this for awhile. Would turn on then like stop lights out then continues to turn on and boot up. I did not change the power supply but did change the computer plug in to a differant room of the house with an extension cord. That worked. I think I had an over loaded circut. However on another occasion I noticed my computer start up very very slow. I mean slow from post screen to raid bios screen. Motherboard level slow. I reflashed the bios a couple times. Updated the raid bios too and made sure my OS was using the lateest chipset drivers from intel. Reinstalled OS. No more problem. -
Problem with Warthog Throttle

I work with office machines and computers and I think it maybe a power problem too. Here is a check. Now we have seen machines run ok at 1 volt. Depends on how high tech the machine is if problems will show up. Just keep in mind that the lower the reading like.5 volts the better your socket is grounded and safer your equipment on the socket. High tech 30k dollar color copiers cant deal with this kind of bad ground. Niether can $500.00 fax machines so its very important. Dont take this lightly and keep in mind that when you finish this test you should check to see how much power is actually coming out of the socket. You should read around 120 volts plus or minus 10% is within specs of most office machines but I consider a socket that has only 117 volts to be a problem. Im going to post this in the pc hardware section too. I dont like like UPS power supplys on office equipment unless it exceeds the power supply in the computer. For example: I now use a 950 watt power supply to support my video cards. Do you know how much a 950 watt UPS cost? Ill pass... Ill just stick surge protection. -
