  1. Not the best quality VHS tape but look at the power:
  2. Highly recommended
  3. If ED ever makes a Linux version it will as an insurance against ever losing the direct connection to the customer. At some point Windows will become a walled garden at which point the only "side-loaders" will be roughly the same 2% of folks that are able to use Linux competently.
  4. I believe you could mount a virpil collective stick in the way you described if you used the higher mounting point on the bracket the opposite way around after you have removed the lips on the bracket which would interfere with the collective using a hacksaw. an out of scale drawing: the "blood" denotes where the cut happens. Maybe some virpiler can confirm this? In theory it might also be possible to attach the bracket top side down and roll the stick on its axis, and then attach it. But it would require a modified or a new limiting cam for it work sensibly after that.
  5. I am somewhat attracted to the early fulcrums, in clean brand new coats of paints in the 80s. Very nostalgic. There is also something about those 90s and early 00s disheveled looking ones
  6. Bruce Gordon has a pretty nice video on the radar scope Some good explanations on the instruments Razbam would do us a big service to model this plane after the MiG-23MLA and the Mirage III. I hope they will.
  7. As I recall the C101 has both blunt and a sharp nose depending on the skin choice (based on a bool statement in the lua I assume). The first 100 or so production MiG-29 9.12s had ventral fins which had extremely limited aerodynamic effect and were deleted afterwards. As seen on this picture It would be very nice to have these available for skin-makers as an option for those making skins for many of the famous early MiG-29s. Additionally it would be nice if the pilot model had optional moustache geometry. As we all know the aviators moustache gives a pilot 10+ to flying. All pilot meshes should have that option but I digress.

  8. Agree with you, and I just have to share this: popping the chute just before wheels touching ground :
  9. They have at least scanned a MiG-23 cockpit with the SPO-15
  10. Yes, the F-15E is out, Flogger graphics are on schedule and only now the flight model programmers at Razbam can concentrate on the three (at the very minimum) different flight models required for the MiG-23 and mixing their equations while the wings are sweeping back or forth. Very exciting.
  11. This is actually probably the biggest problem for ED at the moment. They cannot be seen to making a training tool for someone using MiG-29s against them. But this sort of beaurocratic law-fare against the folk is not unique to the Federation though.
  12. Didn't notice if it had already been mentioned in this thread. But during Enigmas interview with Overstratos from Razbam he mentioned that the MiG-25PD has basically the same weapons control system as the MiG-23MLA they are modelling for DCS currently. From that you could possibly deduce the implication that it's not completely beyond Razbam to model the PD for DCS.
  13. Mr. Enigma released this video today: Here, of course, he is "preaching to the choir" and additionally he is not Razbam. But at least he did interview Overstratos, who is in charge, at one point and the interview is linked in the video.
  14. If its any consolation, the Baas dudes look like they will be publishing a high fidelity mod of the Draken in a year or two
  15. Naval Fulcrum is way howterer especially the 9-31 which is howterest
  16. MiG-29K 9-31 original K Convair F-106A early 1960s model and a gunfighting 1970s/80s model MiG 1.42 Me-262 GIUK map
  17. Certainly. However ED did feature the old Tornado model in a trailer before the announcement of the 3rd party Tornado that is in the works at this time. We could thus say there is a precedent for this sort of revelation ritual.
  18. They actually had to fix the 29 flight model. It has a dampening system like so many other jets, which makes it much easier to handle in real life than the early pfm indicated.
  19. During a recent interview with the flight school owner Tim Davies, Simon Pearson, the business developer for DCS, made an interesting comment regarding "low-fidelity" modules. I for one would be interested in a MiG-29K 9-31 even if it was low or medium fidelity.
  20. There is btw a Civil Aircraft mod available for DCS in the meantime. It includes quite a lot of boeings and airbuses.
  21. Very cheerful to hear that the intention to make the 9.12 remains. Also I hope this time around the pilot moustache gets a few (optional perhaps like on the C-101 model) triangles in the pilot mesh at least so we can have an even more proper aviators mustache than in the FC3 MiG-29 pilot version where its only a texture as far as I know.
  22. It looks like the thread has been modified since it was quoted so its no wonder its hard to decipher. Perhaps there is still a possibility of a FF 9.12 from ED?
  23. I recall reading about F-102As using IR Falcon missiles to blow up camp fires on the Ho Chi Minh trail during the famous Vietnam war. Maybe it has already been mentioned in this thread. Also F-102 is still missing a DCS module.
  24. Is the MiG-29K 9-31 returning back at last from Flanker 2.5? that would be nice
  25. Vulkan is from AMD originally I believe and has since become cross-platform api
