  1. So that means that the old app is not usable anymore for preset loading.
  2. Hi @SkateZilla Since the last update (Normandy one) I cannot make use of the presets although the presets are there and initialy it seems the utility loads them. DCS Updater Utility.log
  3. I guess it's because Normandy is an update to the non available any more Normandy 1944
  4. no problem, it gave the opportunity to OP to post some extra screenshots with 3dmigoto
  5. Not sure why are you pinging me on this topic I clearly not using Opencomposite anymore and I have a Q2
  6. Luckily I don't have the staggering you mention even with the 2060 6gb one. MT really helps in that direction. I flew a Multiplayer (90 players) mission last Monday and although my frames were down to 18-20 I had no issue flying low level. Obviously I was not looking left and right to be on the safe side Personally I can't complain about real flying (was my job for 30 years!)
  7. I can tell you for sure that 2060 is not good enough for stable results with Q2 (let alone G2). I use Q2 with two systems, a desktop with 3080 12GB (and i7 12700k) and a laptop with 2060 and i7 9750. By using only OpenXR and the OpenXR toolkit in both cases, I see that no matter how low I put the settings for 2060 I always have ghosting looking at 3 to 9 line. I can have a good framerate (around 40-45) in SP but in heavy multiplayer scenarios it drops down to 20 With the Desktop rig I have no issues and fly 72 or 80 without ghosting in SP. I use ASW in heavy multiplayer servers to keep steady 36-40 DCS PD is 1.0/ no supersampling anywhere. Oculus resolution setting is max out for desktop and 4864x2448 for laptop (in addition to FOV reduction to 0.75 for the laptop) Turbo mode is on in OpenXR toolkit and ASW off in ODT/OTT Occasionally I use Fixed Foveated at Performance/Wide setting
  8. Which version of SW you have updated to? I’m in v50 on both Oculus app and headset, no issues
  9. Until ED fix the issue is the only option in my case.
  10. For Quest you can try the adaptive option for ASW in OTT
  11. There are so many good stuff in this new version but the most improved one seems to be the presets setting!! (if I understand the picture correctly) Can't wait to test it in action
  12. I have the issue every first time I start DCS-MT without having the headset on my head.
  13. More or less yes. OTT is used as a front-end app of the Oculus Debug Tool that comes with the Oculus Software when you buy a Quest 2 or Quest Pro headset. Among other stuff it also does Supersampling which helps improving clarity in the headset and, as mentioned by Nodak, helps with upscaling technics to improve FPS without sacrificing clarity. The main factors in buying a VR headest (IMHO) are: 1. Budget 2. Use (standalone, PCVR, both) 3. Technical characteristics (lenses, resolution, FOV) 4. Display port connection or compressed image over USB or wifi. and the list and discussion can go on for ever
  14. You better open a new thread to avoid derailing OP's thread on Quest Pro
  15. when you say native what exactly you mean, because OTT supersampling is not native. My understanding is that native is only the one in Oculus app that ends up to 5408x2736. But yes all these testings are subjective
  16. I’m a Quest2 user and I wondered if you have tried using upscaling (NIS) through OpenXR toolkit and resolution override instead of OTT super sampling. It works better in Q2 ( in my case) As an example I use 3020x3060 as override and 135% upscaling (OTT SS is at 0) Also try Turbo mode on Interesting to hear your results
  17. As mentioned earlier by imacken, the benefit of pointing to DCS-MT..exe is that you can use the preset option of the utility which is not possible by using external app approach.
  18. I've noticed in some cases that clouds are moving with the head movement. Turning head to the left they disappear, turning right they appear again! Attached track is over Normandy with F-86. This behavior was noticed in both MT versions dcs.log F-86_Normandy_FF.trk
  19. Works like a treat for the enable MT bat but not for the disable. I believe the correct 2-disable-mt.bat should look like this: cd /d <replace-with-your-install-path>\bin IF EXIST dcs.exe DEL dcs.exe IF EXIST DCS-st.exe COPY DCS-st.exe DCS.exe IF EXIST DCS-st.exe DEL DCS-st.exe pause
  20. I had the same question. I tried it (Using the external app option) and indeed is only running the shortcut without any other functionality from the DCS Updater
  21. I bought this campaign for two reasons. 1. because it comes from Reflected Simulations and I wanted to support his excelelnt job (already have the P-47, F-86 and Spitfire Big Show). 2. because I wanted a good incentive to dive into Mosquito which I have since the initial launch but never spent too much time with it.
