  2. Hi all, I've stumbled across a few videos showing the Huey with an external water tank system and apparently the ability to drop water? Can't find this mod anywhere. Could someone point me in the right direction? Also, is there any water bucket mod for the Huey?
  3. Ah! This is the only module (F-18) I've tried with MT. I did not realise it's different depending on the module! I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem then!
  4. Thank you very much for your input! Can you think of any way of not having to separate flights into 1 aircraft each? At least 2 in a flight would be good. I suppose there's no way of separating units within a flight? I would like to have at least a pair of jets CAP'ing together, otherwise it breaks the immersion a little bit. And in terms of scripting something like this, how difficult would it be for someone who has never done any and has no background in computing (and actively hates computers when they don't work lol)?
  5. In MT version every few seconds I have occasional stutters when looking around. Tried loads of trouble shooting but now it's clear the non-MT version is fine, MT version stutters. Only seems to be when panning around with trackIR (looking around the cockpit ect). If you just freeze your head, it's clear the game does not stutter otherwise. At low altitude trees and objects go by smoothly like you would expect. But when you start panning around with trackir you get consistent stutters every few seconds. Do I need to provide some sort of other files or anything to prove? Thanks!
  6. Hi folks, Could someone please help me achieve the following using some sort of combo of triggers, if it's possible? All planes are set to immortal. Once a plane gets hit by either a missile or guns, that plane then switches to a home-bound waypoint, ROE to "no reaction to threat" and RTBs. Can this be achieved somehow? Much much obliged!   8. What approach plates? Approach plates are for instrument approaches generally, not a for a standard visual circuit to land normally.
  9. Do you guys by any chance know what is the standard CF-18 circuit to land? Assume they don't fly the usual US Navy 800ft/ 350kts to break?

  12. Thanks but I was meaning objects /tarmac that we can place. The default DCS roads are super narrow and don't allow for any jets to manoeuvre unless you go on the grass!

  14. Ah thanks! Yeah I don't know if it's shadow related or not (read through that topic, thanks!) but it seems like 3D grass is making a huge difference to performance. Previously it wasn't ven making a dent in fps. Now it's just horrific Fingers crossed this get's resolved!
  15. Hey folks, I'm not sure if my problem is related to this or not but I also noticed significant FPS drops. One of the most notable is 3D grass which I never had any problems with at all. Always had the slider up to max and enjoyed a totally stutter free experience. Now with the slider even set to 30% there's a significant loss in fps and stutters (when the grass is in close proximity). I tried turning down the shadows from medium to low and secondary shadows off but it seems to have had no effect. Really quite upset with this now Also I'm definitely getting loss in performance over dense areas such as Incerlik, where again I had absolutely no issues with the same settings before! Really hoping this gets resolved soon!
  16. Hi Folks, Is it just me or has DCS had some sort of obvious performance hit since an update or two ago? In situations where I used to get silky smooth frames I now have very obvious fps loss and stutters. In my particular case I've really noticed it when flying low with 3D grass which never used to be an issue for me. And also over dense forests or big cities such as Incerlik. I haven't changed any of my settings. I can't pin point exactly when this started happening but my guess would be roughly when the moving clouds update came out. I could be wrong. All I know is 2-3 months ago I had no issues. Anyone else experienced anything similar? Cheers! P.S Running latest OB
  17. I'm experiencing this very issue now. SARPP is set to OFF for all cases in the Special options tab but will not turn off during a replay. Very frustrating. Any ideas?
  18. According to a current fighter pilot I know this may not be true. That's why I wasn't really convinced about this in the mod.
  19. Hi all, Every time I've tried using the newer S-300/400 assets from this mod or High Digit SAMs mod, they never give off a launch tone for your RWR. Is this still the case here? It's the only reason I still use the original S-300 in game Cheers!

  21. Hi all, I'm in desperate need of some light aircraft (Cessnas, Pipers ect) to populate a GA airfield. Can't seem to find any mods that contain light GA aircraft? Even just as static objects? If anyone is aware of such a mod I would be very much obliged! Thank you!

Hi folks, Could someone tell me, if a 2-ship flight departs the carrier simultaneously, with 1 aircraft departing off the left side (with a clearing turn to the left) and the other off the right side (with a clearing turn to the right), at what point will this flight join up? After 7nm? Many Thanks!
